First, it takes a lot of courage to post what you did. You see where you are, you know where you want to be, and you realize that you want the help to get there. And that's exactly why we are here with you. To help you, every step along the way. Never forget that! Next I would create your goals. And write them down! But…

Have done Insanity, Les Mills Combat, 21 Day Fix, and currently in Week 2 of Body Beast (and lovin' it!) Go ahead and add me!

Welcome! Or 'Welcome back!' I should say. a great way to stay accountable here is to log every day and post at least once a day, even if its just to congratulate someone else on their success story or welcome a new face (we get those daily!). Stick with it and you'll reach your goals!

Hey! 26-year-old here. I'm a bit different on here in that I'm actually doing a bulking program right now, but using MFP to make sure my macros are in order. Add me! Always open to making new friends and help keeping each other motivated!

Other seasonings may help. It changes things up to something you may like that you didn't realize before. Plus, variety is the spice of life! But if you're craving salt or salty foods, it probably means you have a deficiency in chlorine and/or silicon and other minerals. Try adding more leafy greens into your diet as well…

Welcome! One of the best ways to cure nighttime snack is to drink water! Sometimes we mistake dehydration for hunger. Drink a cup or two of cold water and wait a bit - go read a book or something else to distract you. If you are still hungry after 20 min, it might be that you actually are not eating enough. I would say…

Well, first of all, welcome back! And great job setting those goals! They sound absolutely realistic and attainable, which is very important, not only in reaching your goals but then also maintaining yourself once you reach them. In reaching your goals, its really important to keep in mind that you don't need to workout…

Welcome! Glad to read that you're excited at this prospect of losing weight, and you should be! MFP is a great community for doing just that! There's always someone who can help answer your questions or give you the motivation you need to succeed! And while it may not seem like much now, eating healthy foods at a deficit…

Hi and welcome to the community! Great job on staying accountable for over a month! Sometimes these lifestyle changes can be overwhelming, but kudos to you for sticking with it! And it truly is a great feeling being healthy, right?! Don't ever be afraid to post to ask a question or if you just need some motivation.…

Personally, I ignore the exercise addition part of MFP and instead use the TDEE (Total Daily Energy Expenditure) formula for determining my caloric needs. That way I only need to worry about the logging of food since my calculation already takes exercise into account. If that is what you think would be better, you can do…

Always happy to meet new people, motivate others, and make friends! Go ahead and add me!

Be careful with the mentality that going into the red on fat is always bad. There are good fats and there are bad fats, and, unfortunately, MFP does not distinguish between the two. Unsatuarted fats, both poly- and mono-unsatuarted fats are considered the "good" fats and the type your body needs. Those are found naturally…

Welcome! And that's a great story of progress! Way to go! This community is great for answering any and all your questions and helping provide that motivation when you need it most! Track and share and you will reach your goal for sure! You got this!

One of the best ways I think to stay motivated is to find a group of like-minded people who can help motivate you and, in turn, you help motivate them. There's groups for this sort of thing all over, including Facebook groups for those workouts and even groups of people on MFP! Finding that goup is sometimes all you need…

Congratulations! Reaching your goal, no matter how small or large, is always a great feeling! And the fact that you stuck with it for so long is amazing! I often say that a healthy lifestyle and weight loss is a marathon, not a sprint. And your story is a testament to that motto! Awesome job!

First of all, welcome to MFP! It's a great community and you can get a lot of support and questions answered. Don't be afraid to just post away! If you're trying to decrease your body fat percentage, burning off fat is more than likely also gonna lead to weight loss. So while losing weight doesn't seem to be your primary…

Here's one of my favorites: Peanut Butter Protein Balls -1/3 cup all-natural peanut butter -1/4 cup all-natural honey -1 scoop chocolate whey protein powder -3 Tbsp. ground flaxseed -3 Tbsp. dark chocolate chips Directions: 1) Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl. Roll into 10 balls (about 1 heaping Tbsp.per…

If you are sick of cardio, I would definitely try to add in some HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) to your routine. Short bursts of energy that put the heart into the anaerobic state of exercise is going to target that fat burn better than sessions of cardio. Plus, a change from the regular routine stresses the body…

On days that you don't work out, it's not necessarily that you should eat less. But in your OP when you stated that you tend to eat more on such days, that is where you need to watch yourself. And as Brandolin stated, you would not be eating back those calories because they are already factored into your equation in…

Congratulations! The first milestone reached is always one of the best feelings! And it's awesome that you have another goal set already! Keep it going!

First of all, 1 pound of fat (I'm assuming you want to lose 1 pound of fat a week, right?) is roughly 3,500 stored calories in your body. To lose lose 1 pound of fat, you would need a deficient of about 3,500 calories a week, or a deficient of an average of 500 calories per day. And when I say "deficient," that means your…

First of all, congrats on your results so far! Your dedication to living healthy for so long and the progress you have made already should make you proud! And since you're looking for even more results, I think MFP is a great resource to help you continue towards your goals! So Welcome! As for your topic, this is not…
