Sounds like a single meal portion to me. YUM

^This. Not too much caffeine, can backfire if the adrenals get taxed too much. Just learned this recently from a few angles. Ephedrine is the best out there - stack with caffeine and aspirin for the win. -Chromium if you feel sugar craves and "sweet tooth." -Vitamin C with every meal, 1000mg -Raspberry ketones, but they…

True. I'm trying to be a specimen of awe. lol Diet is 80% of your progress. If you're not eating properly and working out with the needed intensity any supplementation you could possibly use is going to be wasted. Even as a sales rep for a supp company I recommend nothing until I know youre diet and training are in check.

Sorry I should have mentioned that. 15% is good for men, 15% for women is real lean. You're right.
-
<--- uses fat burners.... but also knows how to properly diet and train. If used correctly they won't destroy your body but could do so to your wallet. Hey you stole my s/n!!! lol

As you should - the industry just wants to sell you a product like candy, soy, cereal, the likes. And you dont think that university studies or scientific research would be funded by industry? Where does grant money come from? I know I couldn't have done mine without it but I actually believe in my cause.

I'd be checking credentials too

WTFx2 1lbs = 2.2kg so if the human body requires 0.8-1.0g protein per pound body weight that means you weigh 25lbs or 11.4kg. And it doesnt matter how many times a day you eat - you can eat twice a day it doesnt matter as long as you get in the required nutrient and keep consistent with feeding window. Fire your PT.

1. Read the article in its entirety - good literature by well-known writers in the field but I'm skeptical. Still not enough evidence to adopt the theory though, need more studies on population samples before proving the things they say "may" happen. I happened to notice all the foods they talk about also contain high GI…

Just bumps it to the most recent threads to get more attention. Used when someone wants to "bump" an old thread back into discussion or something of that nature.

Muscle is 3x heavier than fat deposits.

You should be a positive image for others to get on the horse like you. Find some friends with similar goals/ interests and develop a support system. What matters to you isn't always going to be what everyone else cares so much about but you can always gain their support in helping you achieve what matters to you. And when…

It doesn't make a difference. The rest of your post was good though.

Just finished 15 minutes and Im beat. High Intensity Interval Training = HIIT 5minutes light walk around 3.0 on a treadmill... 45s all out sprint ~12.0/12.5, rest 1m walking at 2.0 speed. Repeat 8-10 times then walk 5 minutes to loosen up. Far more exciting then jogging/running... well, as exciting as cardio can be.…

Thats because dietary fat and cholesterol has zero effect on blood cholesterol and positively influences lipid profiles. Now that bagel you had..... different story.

Why hate on fat and egg yolks. Great stuff. On what planet is fat bad?

HA! Interesting perspective. You've earned my enlightenment, although I didn't feel like posting. Basic rundown: leptin is a cellular signal in adipose (fat) tissue that, when high, signals the brain that the cells are happy and satiated because they have energy. The body likes this - the body wants to have lots and lots…

MFP's recommendations are crap. Calculate BMR and low ball your BEE until you figure out maintenance surrounding your job. You could swing 1200 for a little while for the initial shock but its too low to keep long term. Meal frequency/size doesn't matter - just reach your macros for the day.
-
Start fasting longer and prepare meals ahead of time. It gets easier as you do it more. Counting macros is a better method than calories. This is how I feel about making my bed. I eat the same things every day, at the same time, in the same order. My physical transformation as a science experiment is more exciting. But Im…

Depends on how many grams protein you need in a given day for your goals. You could have them all in one sitting or spread out it doesn't matter.
-
If you're +15% body fat cheat meals have no place in your diet.... yet. It's all about leptin control - there's a science and an art to it.
-
Me too. It tastes good, keeps me alive, helps me gain or lose weight depending on my goals, makes me feel nourished, fun to cook. What's not to love?
-
I agree - taking time out to get meals in and carry them around to work is a burden. Especially in a busy NYC hospital. So i just fast 20 hours a day and eat all my calories when I get home. Problem solved! *Edit: typo

I didn't know such thing existed.

LOL! Bacon, cream cheese, butter, skirt steak, salmon, walnuts... all sounds good to me. I mean, for weight loss it really doesnt matter as long as you hit your macros for the day. Though for general health purposes may be different. *Quoted text above believed to be sarcasm

Why overtrain?

Calories too low

I don't eat breakfast

Thanks for saving me from typing a paragraph.

Ohhh, typographical grammar helps. I'll look into it.
