That is amazing, I will have to check in with my Y! Money is a good motivator for weight loss, right ;)

Amazing!

If it helps, week 2 was the hardest for me, but week 3 is amazing! I was just telling my husband that tonight! (I gave up about week 7-8, but I wish I didn't.)

Excellent job with your transformation!!! Hate can be so discouraging.

What wonderful coworkers! Sounds like you have a great workplace.
-
These all sound great! Thank you!

You can add me as a friend! I have more than a few lbs to loose ;) The first time I tried MFP whole heartedly and didn't loose a single pound! I was so discouraged. This is my second attempt.

Congratulations! I hope I will be as successful at curbing my Dr. Pepper habit! Haven't had any in a week!!!

Some things to think about... What would you do if he said that to one of your girls? What would you tell your daughter if her husband said this to her? Do you want your children hearing anyone speak to you this way, they love you, and it will hurt them. 4 months is kinds of early to be already having these kinds of…

<3 Feeling crumpled lately.

yay, I had an addiction to candy bars. It had gotten to the point where I could eat 2 full size bars a day, and still be considering getting more. That was when I knew I had a problem, so now I do not eat candy bars. I do not buy them for my kids, I do not buy them for anybody. I still have other sweets occassionally, and…

agree with previous poster totally. I thing we try to give ourselves too many rights. I don't think any one has promised us a "right to die". Death is not something we should be in control of.

Wow! It's an amazing transformation. Congrats!

Wow, I just got some spaghetti squash and jalapenos! Thanks!

They're healthy for me! When I have one in the afternoon it staves of the serious munchies I get, and gives me enough energy to get through the afternoon. And it's much better than the candy bars I used to eat! :P

Can't you spare some of your workout time, make some extra time to workout with her, encorage her. Maybe that's what she needs. Take a class, workout where she wants to, talk and listen, then you have your lifting time. Give a little and you'll get much more in return. Be glad she wants to be healthy. Be glad you have her…

Awww! That's a great story! Way to go, you both look fabulous!!!

It's all in the chicken you buy!!! This trick forever changed the way I view chicken (my sister, too)....avoid the chicken in a bag. If you buy the kind in the flat packaging, it cooks up MUCH better!!! No kidding, night and day. Also, cooking in the oven vs. stovetop will help, too. Here's a few ways I like to make…

I'll tell you why.....there's not many places I can feed my whole family of 5 for $17. (as low as $12 with coupons) You can say good food doesn't have to cost much, but that is just simply not true for many parts of the country, unfortunately.

this sounds great!

Communication is key. Talk to him about how you feel, without being confrontational. My husband isn't the present type either, but I have just come to accept that's just who he is.

This with chocolate added in...mmmmm....even my children like it!

What!?! This is going to change my life, and that of my family members. too!!! Thanks for sharing! Real milk without getting sick? so excited...

I'd like someone to be encouraging. I don't need someone to point out my flaws, I focus on them enough already. I've gone over more than I've gone under, but I'll bet it is 1/3 of what I used to eat, believe it or not! And I am logging; I am holding myself accountable and learning about what's really in the food I eat. I…

You can also go to farm stands and pick up their "seconds" for a fraction of the cost. Usually, they are totally usable, and might just have a cosmetic blemish. We save money by not wasting anything. All of our leftovers get saved and eaten. And also, by avoiding the processed "convenience" foods.

What an inspiration...any tips for success?

How about moving your alarm clock across the room so you have to get up to turn it off. Would that help?

Yep, happened all the time when I was a single parent. Hang in there! When the right person comes along, they will love you and your child (and respect your situation)! Sometimes it is dealing with the ex people are put off by, and not the child.
