Hi there I've been big my whole life also so I know where you're coming from. I've been using MFP since 7/1712 and am down 73 lbs this program is one great tool to help you track your calorie intake.

I see my doctor every three months and durning my last visit in October he had me stop one medication and lower the dosage on another hopefully in the future I can stop taking all my other meds. Thanks for the feedback and the word of caution.

Thanks to everyone for the support and feedback and to those who asked what plan I'm on, back on the first of July I started with a 1500 a day Calorie intake and about a month ago when my weight plateaued I lowered my calorie intake down to 1300l a day I average anywhere from 1 1/2 to 5 pounds lost per week
