Lately I have been doing cardio indoors rather than outdoors because I have an injured knee and the lower impact activities are much more forgiving than running, which is my passion. My resting heart rate is usually about 45-50bpm but that is because of cardiovascular fitness. I am 29. If it is making you tired and dizzy then I definitely agree you should see your cardiologist to see what they find.

You could always try glucosamine chrondritin(spelling). This is supposed to help build cartilage and lubricate joints. I too have one bad knee and I bought some recently, but I haven't really tried them yet. I doubt it is a cure, but I think it might help to take the edge off a little...

I'm in for the push up test. My initial was 8 so we will see how I improve from there! I have already been working on my push ups, but I like the idea of doing this more structured program.
