  • I know its not cutting edge, but I've found some great core exercises at the site for "sports injury clinic" when I was rehabbing an SIJ injury. They have beginner through advanced. Get a yoga ball, some bands, and maybe a medicine ball. Also, if pushups are working for you, you could try adding some plank work to that to…
  • No criticism intended, but I believe antifreeze is ethylene glycol?
  • Don't know about which brands- even within decent brands, different styles and materials wear very differently. I'm still trying to figure this one out myself, so will take some of the advice given! However, I have found that arch supporting insoles are a life saver for me (I have high arches), and creative lacing…
  • In the same boat! I flush easily at any time, but esp working out. I've heard it's a histamine reaction taking place in overactive MAST cells of the skin. I would guess that a histamine blocker would help, but who knows how that may affect your energy! Red wine does it to me like crazy!

I know when I don't workout (like after surgery) my cravings were so hard to manage, and centered around carbs all the time! I think the exercise helps to stabilize my hormones, which keeps my cravings and appetite a little more…

If I don't exercise everyday, my cravings can get a little carb-crazy. My son is a dessert lover, and I often trick him with…
  • Good job! You've earned that great figure and beautiful radiance! I hope I can look 1/2 as good when I lose my 50!
  • GREAT JOB! Consistency is definitely key! So is honesty- every bite counts. I'm only a pinch over 5'1" and an extra 50-100 calories a day (in just a few bites) could be the difference between a 1lb loss, or none at all! 100 days is a great milestone! Here's to 100 more!
  • Another very important thing that fats do in our bodies is help with hormone regulation. I seem to recall that hormones in turn play a role in manufacturing enzymes from the amino acids in the proteins we eat. Insulin is a hormone, and an imbalance could very well cause symptoms like you describe. Are you a worrier? You…
