  • I did Herbalife for a year, and even sold the stuff. It works okay.... best benefit is that the shakes taste ammazing. Other than that all the pills to take are really a waste of time. Same with the tea, I was able to save money getting the stuff I needed from a store or a site instead of buying it all from them. I have…
  • Same thing on the water bottle I carry a 32 oz with me and I need to drink it at least 3 times a day before I sleep.
  • Bumpy bump any other tips/help?
  • I cook with coconut oil and olive oil usually on meal prep days for my chicken. I prefer the coconut oil really good stuff! And I don't like any nuts : ( unless it's peanut butter lol. As for avocados same goes not really a big avocado fan unless it's in my salad once in a blue moon. Not a real big food fan, I eat what I…
  • To address the eating cals back, on this site and other tracking sties I do see that most do not eat the cals they burn back, and if they are only 10-20% are eaten back. From someone that really doesnt eat that much to begin with, it's tough for me to eat more. My meal after I workout is usually 500-800 cals. And I have…
  • I usually have a tough time eating food. I'm never really hungry unless after a workout which is usually my biggest meal. Back in Jan-early march I tried 2k cals and I was gaining weight steadily. So that didnt work at all for me. And it felt like I was just shoveling food lol
  • Good ol ATX here
  • That's the only thing I can drink at work, I have a giant 32 oz jug that I fill up 2-3 times a day mostly more.
  • Will just start using a scale to see actually how much I eat and then see how it is.
  • HRM with a strap, A polar ft4. And it is pretty consistent with the length of my workout and my HR.
  • Wow I guess it does take someone else looking at it. I do not eat 13 oz of potatoes haha. That's crazy never realized that. But yes I will be buying a scale today thank you.
  • I change the lettuce to full spinach and I take out the cheese, and use just a very mild salsa. But I will look into getting a scale seems to be the general feedback. But regarding the 1800 cal before a workout was good and that's what I'm about at right now. When I was eating less around 1000-1400ish I was hungry all the…
  • On my 3 days off spread out through the week it is generally just salad and fruit. Roomate works at Nooks (salad place) and normally just get a very basic salad with some chicken or cook up some talapia with it. And I can eat that twice a day with a protein shake in between and some eggs for breakfast. Main reason I don't…
  • Twice a day, once in the AM weight training and once at night when I get off work. I have a desk job so very low intense job. And I do this 5-6 days a week.
  • Not really weighing the food just I guess you would say eye-balling it. Normally just follow the rule of thirds in regards to whats on my plate. 1/3 chicken, 1/3 greens, and something else like rice/potatoes or fruit. My portions are low to what I was eating a 10 months ago. And yes I understand about the water weight and…
  • done sorry thought it already was
  • Ya man I use to be on my HS powerlifting team which was 6-7 years ago and I have always had large as hell quads lol. But even if that is the case I can't be gaining a 4 pounds of muscle in less than a month. Just doesnt seem likely with all the changes to my diet. To gain that much in muscle I would have to be consuming…
  • Coming from a pre-med major to put my 2 sense in. You're diet is on key, in fact I wish I had that same control as you to eat those foods, I'm just really really picky. I would suggest the workouts may be the problem. Try changing up the intensity on day to day. I'm on my phone so I apologize if I ask a question that you…
  • Tony Horton is the man! Nice to see another p90xer on here haha
  • I just came to this conclusion a few months ago, I was consuming way to many carbs and eating way to much to loose weight. But for the past 2 months I have kept to a strict diet (only the outside isles of a grocery store fruits/veggies/whole foods non processed}. Stick to it you will feel better!
