I am not the poster but it took me over 3 years to lose 60 poundsso that's about 20 pounds per year. It is harder for short people. I am 4'10" and 52 years old.

It really doesn't matter what you eat or when you eat it. The bottom line is to create a deficit to lose weight. I hope this helps!

Amazing results! I am so happy to see someone post that it took them quite a while to lose the weight. I keep seeing threads with 100 pounds lost in 6-8 months and it only discourages me more. I have been at it for about a year and a half and have lost about 35 pounds. I feel better about my slow weight loss now.…

I am 4'10" and I have lost 35 pounds in almost a year. It takes more time if you are short, as we can not eat as much as taller people without exercising. My advice would be to eat back about 1/2 of your exercise calories and aim to lose about 1/2 pound per week. Good luck!!

In my opinion, you should not eat all of your exercise calories back unless you are positive of the calories burned. I usually only eat back about half of mine. If you need something to add extra calories but not add too much food, you can add any kind of nuts, nut butter or avocado's, they are all good for you and have a…

I am only 4'10" tall and I try to net 1000 - 1100 calories. This is the only way I have lost any weight. Right now I am giving my body a rest and am in maintenance mode at 1490 calories a day and not exercising. I will continue this for a week or so and then get back to it. I love eating, so the more you exercise the more…

Me!!! I am 36 pounds down and just fitting comfortably in a size 12 and a few 10's here and there. I gave up my few sixteens ( I didn't have very many because I refused to buy that size). I still wear some of my 14's but they are quite large on me. I only have a few size 12's also, because I didn't want to be that size. I…

I put sedentary for mine! I am a stay at home wife and mother also. I figure that I did the cleaning and laundry before so I don't count it either unless it is something that I don't do very often like deep cleaning.

Awesome find! Love the recumbent bike your hubby made!

I am 4'10" and my goal weight is around 120 lbs. Although I would probably be happy at 130 who knows, I will worry about that when I get there. Right now just trying to get to 140. I started out at 185 and now am at 150, which looks really fat on me.
