my boyfriend has Celiac disease and he can not eat Gluten or MSG So I went gluten free as well to support him. I was amazed that my cravings for bread and junk food went away - even chocolate! we eat a lot better then we ever have! This was a blessing in disguise!

CONGRATS!!!! LOL! I did the same recently! I have a old faded COMFORTABLE Ramones shirt that I LOVE and was able to fit back in it after 5 years! it is soo fun to go thru the closet and have old clothes actually FIT!

this is not a recipe - but Franks Red Hot makes chicken fries - the serving size is small - but perfect for a VSGer they are low in calories, carbs arent to bad and high protein you can buy them at your local Walmart. my rule that I try to stick to is..... more protein then carbs.

Make sure that your gettng in your calories and that your getting the right ammount of protein/fat/carbs. and drink drink drink!! have you all tried water arobics / water therapy or Gentle Yoga (for people recovering from surgery and or injury) these classes at the YMCA

make sure your getting in your water. exercise and don't drop the calories under 1200 or you'll send your body into starvation mode. the most frequent stalls occur at 3 weeks, 3 , 6, and 9 months! I notice that I over eat when I am at home board. I would suggest filling the time with exercising and a hobby that way your mind stays off of food :) Carbs are my trigger food and they make me crave more - stay away from them! make sure that your drinking at least 8 cups of water and taking vitamins!

sugar free popcicles, sugar free apple sauce or jello pudding I also enjoy watermelon and grapes.. It is a easy way to get fluits in while eating and is low in calories.

I have only Lost 38 pounds. (I have a long way to go) BUT... I have stopped both Blood Pressure Medications I don't get out of breathe walking to my car. I have more energy I take better care of my self My skin looks better and I have increased my life span!
