I cant comment on the breads, rice, pastas, deserts, ect... I also dont eat any fruit (exception is cooked tomato) only issue is egg. If it is in Tuna salad I'm fine. But scrabbled, boiled, or omelet and it doesnt sit well. I can eat about 1 egg a week - anything over that and the sleeve rejects it.

My surgeon recommends 40g carbs or less a day. I focus on Protein 70-90 grams. I do not drink protein shakes and I have a water intake of 8-14 cups per day. I am usually around 1,000 calories and my fat is between 50-70g (a lot of cheese) I am 13 months post off and have lost a total of 160 pounds (lost 22 pounds prior to…

I had a high BMI as well and had to pay out the extra 1k. it is good to get in the habit of eating right prior to surgery.. I ended up having food funerals and ended up gaining several extra pounds. my suggestion is to exercise!!! drink at least 8 glasses of water and eat protein - as much protein as you can, minimum of 60…

I still get hungry and I eat 5 - 6 times a day............ as for the enjoyment of eating - no I dont enjoy it anymore. I dont eat just to eat - or I dont eat just for the flavor / taste of food like I used to.

if your into eatting food with no restrictions and if your sleeve can tolerate it - Beef Jerky!!! 14 grams of protein per 1 ounce... you can get low sodium if water retention is a issue. I do chew on it like a piece of gum til it is pulverized.. it is all about finding out what works for you....

I dont drink soda - I stopped that months prior to surgery. being on a 600-800 calorie diet - I would not dream drinking a soda the carbonation of the beverage can cause pain and discomfort. if you MUST drink a soda - let it go flat first.. I personally like Mio. it adds flavor to my water and helps with water intake..…

my personal opinion - listen to your body - if your full dont stuff yourself.. if your hungry eat.. one day of being under calories is fine. If it is a ongoing trend - then I would talk to your PCP.

this might be a stall. most stalls can last 1 - 6 weeks. during this time I would measure yourself. During stalls inches can be lost. it is also a good time to review your food and exercise plan. make sure that your getting in at least 8 glasses of water a day - and eat 60 grams of protein. My surgeon and PCP tells me to…

My husband has Celiac's. maybe chicken fajitas with corn tortillas?? Your best bet is any dish that has no bread or starch to begin with. When you get into the Gluten free pastas and breads items the carbs and calories really start to pile on..
