When my hubby calls me "little buddy"! It's our thing and it makes me melt. Also, if he brushes his hand across my cheek. Makes me melt! :) We've been married 15 years this year!

MFP and the people on here will attack if you mention HCG or eat less than the recommended calories. They crack me up! My friend has been doing HCG and lost 90 lbs and no longer has to take diabetes medication! I am all for it if it helps you reach your goal. Of course eventually you have to eat a little more…

I am in!!! I requested to join your BL team! If anyone is interested I have an awesome spreadsheet that tracks your weight-loss Biggest Loser Style!!!! I'm excited!

You can do it! The key is to set smaller goals and not focus so much on the end number. Try just eating healthy and making healthier choices first. Set 5 lb, 10 lb and 15 lb goals and be excited to reach those. It's a long process, the weight doesn't go on over night so it's not going to be over night that it comes off. Be…

In some cases possible! If you are very overweight and male no problem at all. If you are very overweight and female not much of a problem. If you are overweight and a soda addict not a much of a problem either. It all depends on you and the particulars. I think it could be done with dedication and work. I've lost 11 lbs…

I love curves, which is why I'm not trying to get to 125 lbs, but more like 147-150. I've been 115 lbs before and while it was great, it was the body of a teenager and not a woman! I love the shape of my body, but I've had 5 kids and surgery so my tummy is a mommy tummy, but not too bad. My goal is to shed the bounds and…

Hello all! I just joined the group! My name is Shannon, I'm 35 and a mother of 5 and wife to 1! I have struggled with my weight since my first pregnancy a little over 15 years ago. A few years ago I went down to 156 and felt great, then after several medical issues and medications I ballooned up to 210. I am currently…

So glad you are OK, I have had pleurisy and it's no fun, the pain is very similar to heart attack pains when it gets severe! Take it easy and don't do to much too soon!

Hang in there everyone! I know kids and a new job can be very hard to balance. School can also put you into a demotivated place. The late-night study sessions always made me want something I wasn't supposed to be eating and I had zero time for exercise with work and kids. Find that balance where you can make healthy…

SW = 187 (for group) CW = 187 GW = 171 UGW = 147 No change thanks to Christmas dinner, but I am on a mission to see a drop by the next weigh-in! Cut out the soda, eating a healthier dinner and keeping my snacking to a minimum. Since my Pneumonia is pretty much gone, I'm going to start walking tomorrow. After I see my…

I have been recovering from Pneumonia these past two weeks, so I plan on increasing my physical activity as soon as my lungs are back to normal. Cutting out my soda intake has been a huge deal for me and in turn increasing my water consumption. I am also using portion control. I'm not cutting out foods but I am not eating…

Charity, I would love any suggestions for beginner workouts! I want to exercise 5 days a week, but I don't want to workout so hard that I can barely move to work out the next day! Any thoughts on what would be good to try? Thanks, Shanni
