  • BMI is a good indication, but it doesn't take in to consideration of muscle mass vs fat body. It's very possible to have an unhealthy BMI range due to muscle mass, while being perfectly healthy.
  • As people have said you can adjust your goals/percentages between carbs, protein and fat. Too much of anything can be bad, just depends on what the body does with excess.   • I too cook, bake and make desserts. I usually try and stick with the healthier versions, then it's not so bad if I have seconds. Nothing like a low fat chocolate muffin :).
