If you have never tried hummus, give it a shot. Original style hummus is yummy and 60 cal for 2-TBSPNS. Sorry, not a lady, but interesxted in the string anyway - just started lifting again - but when you say 8-10 reps, are you targeting a single set, or multiple sets? So when you get to 10 reps consistently with a weight, is the game plan to bump up to a higher weight, until you can consisitently do 10 reps again, etc. etc.?…

Just turned 60 December 6. My Wife is 57, and we're both doing well - she's down 20+ and I'm down 40+. What I think is harder about doing it at this age is (1) more aches and pains associated with stressing our bodies, (2) longer healing times for sore backs, stressed elbows and knees, etc., and (3) less "Get up and go"…
