I don't trust MFP calorie burnt calculations, I'm yet to get a HRM so I tend to take off about 10-15minutes from my total time to make it a bit more realistic.

I have been doing it since Feb this year; I have found it has helped with binge eating, I feel satiated and eat a more balanced diet because of Keto. It is a matter of preference- I think you should head over to the specific Keto groups if you want some more information.

I have started doing my insanity workouts without shoes because I feel I have better control over my landing, feet and ankles this way. If after a week or so I notice any issues I will try again with shoes to see how I feel.

I don't focus on keeping up with the people in the video, I worry about keeping up with myself and pushing myself to my limits. The people in the videos need breaks and they are in far better shape than I am so surely I can take a break here and there!

Treadmills make me awfully dizzy so it usually takes me a good few minutes of holding onto the rails before I feel confident to let go... you sound judgmental... who cares WHY they are holding on... they are there trying.

I am addicted to MFP! I find it so motivating to see other people posting their diaries, thoughts and achievements and it's also nice to share in the pain and set backs that we all inevitably have along the way! Friend request coming your way.

Just finished week one of Insanity and I am LOVING IT!! I have to modify some of the exercises (the really difficult push ups!) but I am managing most of the other exercises... I normally HATE exercise BUT I love the feel of the sweat just pouring off me during these workouts!

I have had acupuncture to help with a back injury; my physiotherapist (fully trained and qualified to administer) identified that acupuncture was better at releasing deep muscle knots (not the exact words she used) than just using stretching and body pressure. It definitely worked for me. Not sure about its use for…
