  • Congratulations!! Great job. I saw Ryan Hall was there too. I had the honor of running with him and his wife Sara a few years back and have brunch with them.

  • Great job! You will be addicted to the distance. I love the half! I have another piece of advice, carry toilet paper. You never know when you will need it, and all the port a potties will be out of TP! Best piece of advice I had gotten from someone before my first.
  • I have mender's disease. I got it after having my first ever major ear infection a few years ago. My doctor told me if i don't get up and move around every so often it will have more of an effect. Also I have found that taking a decongestant every 3 days or so, dries up the fluid that builds up and that has helped me…
  • Week4 d1 done Also did 15 min circuit training 4 minutes of strength training- for a challenge I'm doing

  • I'm also a runner, and a mom. I've completed several races, 5k's and half marathons. I finally got motivation back and started all over with the c25k, and found a whole new love of the sport. Feel free to add me.
  • I'm only in week 3 but also think it's home fast. Don't let it end, go right into couch to 10 k

  • I had time, felt motivated, and had energy so I actually knocked out 2 c25k workouts. Didn't w3d1 and w3d2. Felt awesome!

  • I wouldn't worry about being slow. Personally I think there are far more slow runners than fast ones. Concentrate on having fun, being "in the moment" and proud of your accomplishments. Great job!

  • W2d3 done!! Didn't cover S much ground as I did yesterday...probably because I did it 2 days in a row.

  • If you are fairly new to running I definitely wouldn't suggest doing it every day. The way I've been doing it is every other day. (Except today because i did 2 days in a row due to schedule). And I was dragging butt today.

  • I'd like to be a mentor. I've been on the site since 2009 and love every minute of it. Lots of great people out there and I love to help others. I'm a working wife and mom of a 14 year old and 7 (almost 8) year old. I work as a 911 dispatcher and training coordinator. I love to run, and have ran several races from 5k's to…
  • Way to go!! I'm supposed to be doing w2d2 today, but we have heavy thunderstorms in store for us. I really hate the treadmill, but may have to do it.

  • Even though I've only been doing the program for 2 weeks, I finished another 5k today. Like I said before I'm not new to running, just needed a program to follow for a kick in the butt. I had a pretty good race, average pace was 11:35. Total time was 35:53. I'm doing a challenge on MFP that starts Monday and is 12 weeks…
