  • Ohh... totally yummy sounding... doing this! I think I'll try vanilla almond pudding tomorrow!
  • Lots of good ideas... totally going to try them ALL out... expect the yogurt... cutting dairy right now. A Thousand Thank Yous! :)
  • The better question to ask would be, "What CAN'T you do with cottage cheese?" (I don't eat much of it because I've found i'm sensitive to dairy... but I LOVE it) You can: Mix it with fruit and granola or nuts Mix it with taco spice and dip in tortilla chips (Never add it to scrambled eggs... turns out very gross) Add dried…
  • I would guess more than 30 for sure... but weight is so weird and hard to go by. If you gained more muscle tone and lost fat it can change how you look even more than just weight loss. Have you been working out? Lifting weights? You look amazing! Keep up the great work!
  • Mine are totally hormonal. I've tracked them for years, and I can even predict the day they are going to start. I ended up seeing the doctor who gave me some stronger meds (Norco) and prescribed rest. It finally went away! Thanks again for all your helpful suggestions and comments! <3
  • Totally agree! I have learned to manage them much better over the years. For me, smoked anything is a huge trigger. The smoking agent, even liquid smoke is poison to me. I know hormones play a big role also, but take hormone supplements is almost as bad as not... so many side effects, and guessing on dosing. Also stress is…
  • You can make these in the microwave in a micro muffin pan (they're white and always at goodwill). I nuke them on 50% power for 3 to 5 minutes. Great with egg beaters and bacos, whole eggs and spices, anything you want. Just make sure that if you're using whole eggs to break the yolk so it doesn't explode!
  • I just got some 12 YEAR aged cheddar from Wisconsin last week. Think I'll make some scrambled egg white and melt some cheese on top of whole grain sunflower bread for breakfast with some hot sauce. Thanks for the idea! :)
  • Sometimes it's easier to count your total calories for the week, or several days together, and take an average. It gives you a lot more room to work with. That way if you want to splurge one day, you don't have to feel bad knowing you can make up for it the rest of the week. Helps this become a lifestyle and not just a…
  • Eating In The Raw by Carol Alt. http://www.carolalt.com/
  • Yes, pure Rawists DO eat raw meat... I don't think I could... I don't even like cooked meat. Although they eat raw meat, they don't just eat any old piece of meat from the grocery. They look for high quality, grass fed, organic, reliable sources. Still... Yuck to me... but to each his own! :)
  • I've heard amazing things about green smoothies. Do you use a favorite green powder?
  • not sure I could commit 100%.... which seems to be required by the diet. Damn delicious Rye Bread! lol.... likely to at least read the book tho.
  • smooth move herbal tea, Trader Joe's colon cleanse, both with LOTS of water and fiber in bulk... makes everything great. I did the Master Cleanse diet last year and both helped me A LOT!
  • I use resistance bands around my ankles and do side steps up and down the gym floor several times. I love pushing myself past the point of feeling the burn in my muscles... it's awesome. I've also read you have to lose a good amount of body fat before your legs look lean... one of the last spots to look toned in girls.…
  • haha... i always think of porn music when I forget to bring my Ipod to the gym and have to listen to what they play over the speakers! It's got "that beat". lol
  • Yes! I cut back to 1000 to 1200 a day Net in March and stopped losing. So I met with a nutritionalist and decided to bump my calories NET up to 1200 to 1400. Since then I've been back to losing 1 to 2 pounds a week. So probably going to stay with what I've been doing. Just very surprise to hear a healthy care professional…
  • thanks, I'll try that for sure... can't hurt anything!
  • Swelling is on the outside part of the leg below the kneecap in the soft little side pouch area... if that makes sense. Pain seems to be most right underneath the lower bottom middle part of the kneecap.
  • Maybe try some steamed veggies while you are figuring out why the salads are bothering you. That way you can still get some healthy veggies in your diet. In my local supermarket there are bags in the frozen food section that you can put right into the microwave and have yummy steamed veggies in a matter of minutes! :)
  • Wow! What an inspiration you are!! You look amazing! :)
  • i just try to get my week in whole to look right for calorie intake... if i don't feel like eating much one day, I'm usually hungrier another day in the week.
  • Probably logging separate would be the most accurate, but you want to keep logging easy enough that you WANT to do it! :) When I do to the gym and work different machines, I just log circuit training. Close enough I think. Great workout, by the way!

  • You'll get used to eating breakfast. Helps your metoblisim kick in for the day. I also am having some trouble getting all my calories in every day... my diary's public and I WELCOME suggestions! :) Eating healthy food means that you can eat a LOT more compared to processed junk food amounts. I'm losing weight, and NOT…
  • Wow! Thanks for all the great information! I feel so much better about my 11... technically 11.5 minute mile now. I was almost embarrassed to post my time! Good to know I'm not the slowest girl in the world! lol I will keep on trying to improve my own time. The most exciting thing to me was that I didn't have to stop even…
  • Thanks for the recipe! I'll have to try it out! :)
  • How about Chilpolte? They are delicious and a pretty relaxed place. Maybe that's too "fast food" though. You should be able to order a salad from anywhere that isn't too bad as long as you ask for the dressing on the side. Also, you could save some cals by asking them to sub brocolli instead of fries, or other low cal food…
