I'm on week 3 and so far it's going great. I haven't weighed or measured myself so I'm not sure how much progress I'm getting. On the fitness end, I can definitely feel the changes in that I'm not dying halfway through the workouts anymore.

When I did LG, I went the 10/14 route (suggested by the program). I tried doing 8/16 for the first two weeks and it was terrible. However I was able to sustain 10/14 for over 3 months (and counting).

It's great to have support. Welcome and feel free to add :)

Definitely guilty. But on days where I'm just too pooped I don't think much about it.

I'm in Fairfax. Feel free to add! It's good to see fellow Virginians represent!

For many years I was obsessed with the elliptical. That was my go-to cardio machine before I decided to take up running (the last 3 or so years). But recently I found the rower to be just as good if not better (and more addicting) to use. I agree with previous posters that the rowing machine would be your best bet if you…

Most of the time I do cardio at lunch time and then weights when I get home. If I'm having a hectic day at work then I'll do both weights (first) and cardio after work.

I used to use it in place of butter or oil when I was on a lower carb lifestyle. Even though I'm no longer on the lower carb bandwagon, I'm still using coconut oil in some meals like when I bake or when I make stir fry.

I used to feel like that way back when I first started to drink 8 glasses of water (or close to it). After a short while (maybe a week) my body got used to it ahd haven't felt bloated off water since. I did notice though that I got bloated for a good 6 hours shortly after consuming a home-made smoothie a few days ago. I…

Except that one time where we invited you to TDB LOL.

Haha no I don't want to lose my appetite. I like salads but I don't like them THAT much. I eat them mostly to help clean up my diet. Plus I'm making it a personal mission to eat more veggies in general, whether they be a side dish, or hidden in other meals. Making salads just allows me to consume more, at least in one…

Yep, done and done. I've used different, veggies, different proteins, and different dressings. I've even tried salad w/o dressing but had to add a small handful of craisins for taste. I think I'm just in low right now with salads. I think I have to start accepting that I can't stomach eating it all the time, which means…

Yeah I guess I failed to mention that I'm not a big fan of eating the same things meal after meal no matter how yummy it is. I guess I'm just picky that way but it's a miracle that I've last this long with salads. It's not that I can't, I just don't get an appetite for it after I've had it. I've done it in the past and I…

I haven't sacrificed anything, but rather now continue to eat what I want in moderation (and so long as it fits into my macros). Some days are harder than others because I love food. Buffets are tough to get through so I usually reserve that time as my cheat meal. Bread, pasta, rice, etc. are also my downfall but I've…

Yeah it's normal. I tend to retain up to 5lbs of water a week before TOM and then start shedding it during and after. Reason #542 why I hate to weigh myself one week before.

Currently, free-99 ;-) I have a gym at the office as well as a home gym. Before this I used to go to a local gym that was $15/mo. It had everything I needed sans all those group classes (i.e. Zumba, Body Pump, Yoga, etc.). That gym did have one class though, a crossfit-type class. They couldn't officially call it Crossfit…

I agree it's an awesome exercise. You guys are giving me so much motivation to get up to your weights! I just recently started incorporating deadlifts into my routine though so am starting off lighter to ease myself into it.

I had that problem a time or two before. Once I had hit 120lbs it got seriously more difficult to lose even a pound, let alone 10! I agree with mhuch110 that re-adjusting your specs on MFP will help to calibrate your daily calorie limit and your calorie expenditure. Also, mixing up your workouts or doing something totally…
