Smoothies are fabulous too, I have the ninja kitchen system, love it too! (Great way to add protein powder, flax, leafy greens...) I think between the 2 units (Jack La Lane & Ninja) it was about $250, great investments. The Jack La Lane also has recipes for using the pulp once you juice! Pretty cool!

1.) my own health (to avoid weight related illnesses) and just be active and fit in general 2.) my kiddo 3.) my hubby 4.) to look hot (lol)

I vote full fat/calories on 99% of things... A.) they taste better B.) they have less additives, sodium, etc C.) I plan out my days calories so I make sure it fits my macros D.) they taste better ???????? Edited because my 1% is milk, I don't like 2%-whole milk to drink alone. That's just me though!

I eat TONS of fruits and veggies (diary is open) and I also love to juice and would recommend it. Fresh juice is amazing! I have the Jack La Lane power juicer. I do not recommend juicing as a weight loss "fad" I recommend it as yummy!

Love it! I always tell people the reason I've been successful is because I was really ready and wanted this...

This is my life!!! Lol. I'm so happy to be healthier and more fit, but I miss those high burns! Haha.

I always reward myself with food and see myself already doing it with my 2 year old. Ugh! I hate the emotional relationship I have with food. I want to celebrate with food and I want to cry with food. Also, I wish I had an unlimited running budget (for racing) because I am addicted!!! Since I am a full time SAHM I feel…

I have to say this post kind of cracks me up. It seems like you genuinely want to get out there, but you keep letting things become excuses. If you don't feel safe, find a way to change that: I run in the dark more often then I do in the light, I run in the snow, rain, mud, heat, etc. I love running and as someone pointed…

No excuses! Taking 100% accountability for every decision and choice I make regarding my health & fitness. No judgement, but I see so many people not having "enough time" and I won't let that happen to me! I'm in this for life! If I choose an unhealthy choice I'm going to own it, not try to justify it. In the long run,…

SAHM 28 month old son. I'm 31 and in Colorado, my name is Nicholette. I love running!

Working out helps relieve/prevent DOMS for me so I say if you're not in "pain" do it! If you are in "pain" you might want to check your form. Your schedule sounds great also!

Running, running, running & running!!!!!! (I've run in 25* blowing snow, 16* freezing cold & 100* heat... Anything to avoid hamster time, I mean treadmill time!) ❤❤❤????????????????

I've got 8.1/52.4 miles complete!!! Every time I run since the marathon it makes me feel closer to the tragedy, but helps me heal as well.

Full time SAHM to an almost 2.5 year old boy! I've been on this journey for almost 1-year (my track-versary will be 06/13/2013)! Anyone who's serious about health and fitness and needs extra support and encouragement is welcome to request me! Please add a note in the request! ????

Cheese!!!!! On pizza! On Mexican food! On crackers, bread, sandwiches, salads, everything! By itself! And brownies, my own recipe! ????????????

Yes, please!

I'm also working on building up distance. I'd like to run at least one Half Marathon each year!

I am in a runner's club (Rocky Mountain Road Runners) and we race 1x per month, varying 3-10 miles. Our next race is May 5th, a 5-miler. I also pre-registered for a six week race series sponsored by No Limits Racing, they're all 5k's and the first one was day before yesterday, so five to go, every Tuesday night. I'm…

Chew gum, drink lots of water and don't restrict!!!! Allow yourself some treats. I am a home baker and cook and I make yummy things all the time, sometimes skinny versions but usually full fat/calorie versions. Also, try to have some protein before your shift so you'll stay fuller! Good luck! (P.S. sounds like heaven on…

1.) My neighborhood (road or trail running) 2.) My den or living room (homemade WOD's or those posted by friends--strength training with body weight or DB's, yoga, stretching/foam roller/recovery) 3.) Neighborhood HS track (more running) 4.) Any number of parks or trails that I've pre-registered to run races at (more…

That being said: ^^^ I don't smoke, do drugs, drink (with the very rarest of exceptions) or drink soda/caffeine... So maybe I've never had to worry about the hardest things to quit, lol.

I've learned that restriction leads to resentment. I prefer moderation. There are certainly things I limit and will only allow myself single portion packages or measured out. There are things I'd prefer not to have unlimited access to, or to be stocked at home. For the most part healthier choices provide better fuel &…

1.5% local farm dairy milk delivered straight to my door step every Tuesday morning! I'm allergic to nuts so I've never tried almond milk. I do like organic unsweetened vanilla non-GMO soy milk also.

@maryannelk thank you!! @ctpeace could not agree more, thank you!

This article should not have targeted running specifically. #RUNNERSUNITE I do think there should be a balance between cardio (I love running, but I do other cardio!) and strength training.
-
I will commit to running the distance that you posted, this is a cool tribute! I did a 5k last night in remembrance and to honor those affected by the tragedy. I hope more people stop and read your post and join your challenge/tribute!

@silvergurl thank you! I'm going to send you a friend request!

1.) Christian 2.) Full time SAHM (2.5 year old boy) & housewife 3.) Runner 4.) Salt junkie 5.) OCD, therefore completely adore lists ✅

Comparing myself to my shorty friends had me as an underweight athlete in HS. As an adult I worked 60-80 hours a week and gained tons of weight. Made terrible decisions and never made time for health or fitness. Fast forward to today; I'm 31, married full time SAHM to an almost 2.5 year old terrific little boy and making…
