In for starting a rival group! Especially if I can use my 7 halfsies and upcoming 24-hour as my qualififications ????

My aunt (former cross country and track super star coached by the legendary Joe Vigil) gave me some interesting insight about this. She says that her opinion on this has changed through the years. Saying that when you're a HS and college athlete and you're on top of the world it's insulting if someone passes you and…

I personally love the "great burn" on the one calorie TDEE workouts. I agree that people need to pay more attention. It lacks sincerity when you post the same comment on each post. Let the hating continue, I've got your back Dave!

I thought you switched to pink lady's now? ????

I too will take any unwanted carbs! I ❤️ all the carbs!

Around 190 pounds? 2:33:06 (Sept 2013) Lots of miles later and weighing a bit MORE actually ???????? my current PR is 2:22:03 ETA date

I am traumatized for you. That sounds like the worst kind of awful. To the one who said no salted caramel or chocolate. How dare you!! Mine is ketchup and anything. (Lol.)

Sunday!!!!! SkirtSports half marathon! Goal to enjoy a halfmary without freaking about a new PR. The course is very hilly and pretty tough looking so I don't think a PR is a reasonable explanation anyway... Oh well, I have 5 more this year that I'm signed up for. Lol.

Is this for June goals? *tongue in cheek* Log everything everyday and be 85% green for calorie goals. 200 miles running or rulking Start Stronglifts (AGAIN) as I have 27 whole days between my half marathon June 1st and the next one June 28th. I need to get my core stronger so I can lift my legs higher so I can actually run…

I did almost this exact thing in April. I raced a half on 04/06 and PR'd then paced someone 2:00/mile slower the following week 04/13. I felt great after the first half, especially coming off a PR and ran most of the week. The second half was brutal because it was windy, snowing, hailing, muddy, etc. Still finished pretty…

My reflective vest was delivered via fedex yesterday. Was going to wear it on my 4:00am run this morning.

Skirt sports just won some awards for their new line of sports bras and they're endorsed by runners world. Great company created by a female athlete!

Serious LOL

When I get tired or grumpy I count steps to measure my cadence. It's boring but it keeps my mind preoccupied and helps my form/posture from falling apart!

???????????? absolutely hilarious!

This thread made my son think I was crazy because I was laughing so hard...

Bahahaha! So much awesomeness!

I see you've already gotten a great answer but I just wanted to add that my treadmill is a filthy liar or it thinks I am the least fit person EVER. It would have given me about 200% of my actual burn per my HRM. *rolls eyes* It's impossible to know 100% for sure but do the best you can. You're obviously a logical person…

I will second several comments: Caffeine about 30 minutes before = you're golden! Running otherwise fasted = yes, even less issues. Not rolling out of bed and running = great advice. Also yes, this happens to ALL runners. ????????????????

For those of us that run distance I would even change that to first 2-3 miles but otherwise brilliant! ❤️ OP: just take it nice and easy with your runs now. Don't race until race day. You were working hard and making progress before you got ill and that didn't just *poof* disappear. You've got this!

Ice baths are God awful until you're out of the tub and then they are AMAZING! ???????? Best recovery ever for me! (No knee issues or injuries just for general fatigue and soreness.)

I don't know if it's the third fourth or fifth at this point but running buddies save me in my training runs!! I can't emphasize that enough. I ran a 20-miler a few weeks back and ran the first 16 by myself and I was loathing the last 2 or so. 2 friends joined me for the last 4 miles and they were the quickest pace of the…

LOL! I would be too if I wasn't me haha. It's a great company and our directors are amazing people. I'm very fortunate! Now I just need to buy a medal display. ????

Since I work for a race company all of our owned races are free to run. I will run about 30 this year. They also sponsor us to run other races that we don't own; example huge races like BolderBoulder or full/ultra marathons since we don't produce any of those. We also have other companies that sponsor those of us that run…

Agree with above! I've gotten significantly more fit and dramatically increased my running volume since I began running (sort of kind of in June 2012 and really trained starting March 2013.) Since my first competitive 5k (Nov 2012) I've taken 11 minutes off my time. Half marathon (first one Sept 2013) I've taken 11 minutes…

Sent a friend request! Congrats on an amazing job!

Jeremy thanks! I need to double check and make sure I follow him on twitter! Also I have every faith in you doing awesome at your 50k!

❤️❤️❤️???????????? Since the majority of races I run are put on by the race company I work for or the running club I'm in I usually know a ton of people running them as well. I always say "save me a place at the finish" to all the runners who undoubtably finish ahead of me lol. "Keep my spot warm" etc. Its all in fun. Who…

Thanks!! Racing Weight surely will come in handy so I don't gain 20 pounds...lol.

I like the philosophy behind this site, thanks! I just wish the plan was timed not by distance. I will peruse it a bit more though, thanks!
