I'd change the weight training, and make it more like a grid - so you can list reps at varying weights within a set all on one line. But in general, I'm very happy.

From what I've seen, consistency and motivation are huge. I think you're on the right track!

I've been bumping around the same weight for a month now, yet still trying to do the right things. I can't lie...the past couple of days have been really discouraging, but your stofy just gave me some much needed motivation. Thanks for sharing. You look awesome!!

From what I've read, the most muscle an average person can put on in a year is 8 lbs. I'm sure it's no tthat. Probably water or a lot of nuts waiting to vacate the premises.

1 - Aguardiente de Cana - Santero (I call it "*kitten*-tero")) 2 - Akvavit (tastes like a burning tire)) 3 - Kiwi Maddog 20/20 ((yak-yak)) 4 - Four Loko Uva Berry ((added bonus that it keeps you awake so you can suffer through more)) 5 - 2 Fingers Tequila (God-awful tequila - makes Cuervo taste like nectar) ((HM - Michelob…

Wow! Very impressive. I think this site is very helpful. I know I had some misconceptions about what I was taking in before I started logging it. Good luck, and you're right! You CAN do it!!

Same here. My basset (Ginger) was 14 when I had to put her down. I still tear up over her from time-to-time. Kid's movies often get to me since my daughter was born. Monsters Inc. gets me everytime, and just a couple weeks ago I was crying at the end of Brave. Come to think of it, I almost never cried until my daughter was…

I used to be a Lions fan during the season, and 'Boys fan during the playoffs (and during the season). Now I can pull for 'em both. Awesome!! Gotta love the Cowboys haters too. What's up with that? I guess it's like they say, the more haters you have, the better you are.

I probably should add that I had major knee surgery 3.5 years ago, so I'm supposed to avoid any impact cardio (running, etc.).

I know a lot of people who have found a friend in the same situation, and they walked. I know a couple of people who had very good results from it. And of course, if you have a workout partner (or walking buddy), it helps to keep you on track. Good luck!

There's a couple questions I avoid like the plague - this one, and "when are you expecting." Years ago I told a friend he looked great after he had dropped several pounds. Unfortunately, it wasn't intentional. I've avoided discussing weight ever since - unless somebody brings it up to me.

I've heard of that as being something more along the lines of helping stay on-track mentally. Give yourself a treat day, and be disciplined the rest of the time. From personal experience, it was not a good fit for me. Once I started down that slippery slope, I lost my way - eventually 4-5 days a week were treat day.…

I was wondering this last night, after getting home from seeing Static X (really good show). Honestly, most of the pits at Trees seem like a mix of football and wrestling. So I went and and looked up 60 minutes of both: football - 943, wrestling - 650 (seems REALLY low). The average is 747ish, so I took the liberty of…
