Torchwood was okay... like an X rated X-Files LOL But it got a bit stupid, especially during the second season when they were all trying to jump into bed with each other. I skipped about five episodes in the second half of the season because I got bored and frustrated with it. I watched the last couple of episodes and I…

loril, since i have no clue who Barty Crouch Jr and Cedric Diggory are anyway, I say, absolutely! Yes! Go for it! :P

LOL lori - I'm a gadget geek too... I try to resist... usually I'm fine, but if I know I could really use it, then I'm hard to dissuade!

Oh you're gonna love THAT episode... it's one of every fan's favourites... it's the one most fans use to introduce non-fans to the show... awesome story... and full of timey-wimeyness :D
-
I'll have to go check this out :) (Like I need another excuse to spend money LOL) Thanks for the heads up!!
-
LOL I did three seasons in about two months... one ep on average a night... I'm rewatching seasons six and seven before the second part of seven starts on the 30th. Am up to The Girl Who Waited and I'll probably watch that tonight. I've seen them all already but I want to watch them again.

BTW, you can also get Fitbit in Staples... have just been there and saw it... I was tempted - it looks pretty good - but I didn't buy it... I put it on my Amazon wishlist though :)

Oh.... Kelbez, I meant to add... when you find yourself in a jam, just remember these words... Keep Calm and Don't Blink. (You'll see.... :P)
-
Spoilers, sweetie LOL (Just in case someone else reads this who hasn't got to the eps yet....) I love the Whovian cat... that's awesome LOL Actually, if you think about it, it would be easy for the Doctor to go get them... so he can't get back to that year because of all the difficult timey-wimey stuff... so why doesn't he…

Yes.... everyone remembers their first ;-)

Hmmmmm... bacon.... Welcome KelBelz.... I'm sorry you like Harry Potter. My sympathes :P I hate Harry Potter LOL No, really. I'm an Englishman living in the US so here are the top three questions i get asked... 1) Have you met the Queen? 2) Do you like the Beatles? 3) Do you like Harry Potter? No, no and no. I can…

Ha! Yeah, the Mummy quote as is pretty good... I also like to quote the Library episode... my son James and I were playing basketball in our apartment's gym when suddenly all the lights went off... so you can probably guess what I said... "Hey! Who turned out the lights??" (He didn't get the quote. He's only six LOL)

I'd love to see something of the Time War... but then, you have to wonder... would you find it disappointing? I mean, it's like the Clone Wars in Star Wars... you heard whispers of it in the original trilogy and then... well... you found out it really wasn't that exciting after all LOL

Crikey Charlie! I guess the big question is... will XI cry more than X did when he regenerates?? "I don't want to go..." *whimper* Ever see the out-takes of David Tennant saying that line? They filmed three... one with not much emotion, one where he blubbers and somewhere in-between... they used the middle one...

LOL Bring them here! One of us! One of us! One of us!

Don't tempt me LOL I have a couple of Star Wars shirts... "Trust me, I'm a Jedi Master" is one... and I have the "expressions of Vader" shirt - basically, the exact same 12 photos of Vader's head (ie, his helmet) and underneath each one it has a different emotion - confused, happy, sad, etc... You can get it in Wally world…

Welcome loril13! I kinda a grew up on Who when I was a kid in Englandl; it was on TV every Saturday night on BBC 1 in the 70's. I guess my first doctor was really Tom Baker but I can't honestly say I liked it. For one thing, I saw Star Wars on my 7th birthday and, frankly, after that, nothing the BBC put on could hold a…

I'm trying to write a book about people's personal beliefs - I'm asking folks the same questions about life, the universe and everything to see how they respond. Questions like... "where did the universe come from?" "what does the word God mean to you?" "why do bad things happen?" I'm looking for common ground among the…

Gosh... what is it about BBC America and gravelly voice-over guys???
-
Groovy :) I'll have to watch this tonight, during my lunch break at work. I have to say, I read the premise of The Bells Of St John - "battling an evil entity in the world's wifi networks" - and my first thought was... the lawnmower man? *shudder* Blimey!
-
LOL loril13... I see what you mean about Eccleston... and I totally agree with you there :) As for XI, I can't say I know the character from Glee, so I don't have any comparison there... David Tennant reminds me a LOT of a friend I used to have... he even looks a bit like him... alas, he used to irritate me sometimes LOL I…

-
Ah, okay... I'll definitely look into that.... it sounds like it could be useful!
-
Hmmmm... interesting... I will have to investigate...
