The more you drink water the more your body will thirst for water. Also, I found that with more water I bloat less. Your body will make adjustments.

 Stopping in to say hi. Today is a busy day. I started with a tough Cathe Legs & Glute workout. I love the feeling of accomplishment after completing a challenging workout.. The fear of not being able to walk after all those reps is something I'll have to work out. The last few days I have been really hungry. I just…

I’ve decided that eating out will result in a maintenance day rather than a weight loss day. Natalie, your goal of another 20 pounds by the end of the year sounds reasonable. Seems as though you are finding…

:flowerforyou: Hello Everyone, Natalie, are you still following the 17 Day Diet? Katy, most of my DVD workouts are step routines. I really enjoy them. Have you tried Cathe workouts? Mimi, thanks for the info about whey intolerance. I’ve been using whey in my protein shakes, but never thought that…

:flowerforyou: Hi Ladies, Faye, I’m lactose intolerant.:frown: I can’t tolerate milk, ice cream or butter, especially hot butter. Some yogurts are fine; however, some brands my body does not like. Just recently, I’ve noticed that Fage yogurt gives me problems. I’m going back to Chobani. I eat lots of cheese. Diane,…

:flowerforyou: Hello Ladies, Barbie, I’ve learned that some of the samples are “trigger foods” for me. Like you, I’m learning to say not. Also, because of your posting, I’ve begun reading Thin Commandments Diet and Thin Tastes Better. I am learning a lot about myself. Mimi, hope you had a restful night…

My DD cannot eat "thick cheese' - it has to be thin. My DH puts peanuts in his Pepsi.

 Good morning ladies. I’m trying to get a post in before I return and find too many comments to keep up. Marilyn, while my weight is not moving as quickly:frown: as I would like, I do see changes in my body. :flowerforyou: Hello Ladies, Today is hot - 90 degrees:smokin: . Today is the last day of school for my daughter. She and five classmates are having a party at my house. Mimi, Thanks so much for your story. What you shared helped me reflect on my journey and acknowledge my "truths" about food and weight loss. In March, when I turned 50, I decided that I needed to change my lifestyle. One of those changes invovled becoming active on MFP. Having friends like yourself and others in this group…

If you think it's bad for you don't drink it. I don't totally but into the good food - bad food hype. Too much of anything is bad.

I drink about 2-3 glasses of red wine a week.

Yes, I can see a big difference. You are doing great!

No, I don't eat before a workout. If I'm really tired and thinking about "not" working out I might drink a cup of coffee to give myself a jolt. I like protein shakes after a workout.

Your abs are great! The second picture looks sickly. I would not want those abs.

Visit the following website: http://www.collagevideo.com/main.aspx If you have On Demand you might be able to try out some routines. Also, check your local library. I like the following: Cathe ( will need weights and a step) The Firm ( may need some equipment) Jillian Michaels ( 30 Day Shred and 6 Week Abs is great)

I am learning to decrease my snacking. Currently, I'm eathing three meals about four hours apart and one snack between lunch and dinner. When I eat a wholesome breakfast I don't get hungry before lunch, but I usually need something inbetween lunch and dinner. I've pretty much eliminated any snack after dinner.
