  • Hi, Shop at a whole foods type store and buy bulk grains/ beans and lentils. Every meal should have a grain, protein (bean, lentil, soy etc.) and a vegetable. Eat lots of fruit for a snack, free range eggs and you will get all the nutrients you need and then some. I would drink soy milk for B vitamins or you could take a…
  • You will play around with the calories to see what works for you. What i learned is to keep the calorie allowance an amount I will stick with long run because it is a journey. We are here to change habits so i like to adjust to an amount where i am not hungry while making healthy choices. Maybe start with 1 pound and…

When i'm on vacation i try and remember that spending time with my spouse and time off are my treat.s...that's what feeds my soul.....not food. Good luck and have lots of fun!!!! You will do great!
  • Great idea! I love celebrating mini victories. I feel stronger and leaner! Here's to minis adding up to biggies :)
  • Stick to some flexion stretches for now (touching toes, etc.), keep moving...walking. If it doesn't get better in a few days see a doc. If it starts to feel better you can return to your activities but add in plenty of core strengthening exercises.

  • I know, it is so frustrating!!!! I am going through the same thing now....so i have decided to ditch the scale for a while. I will continue to monitor my calorie intake as before and eat my exercise calories only when i am hungry. I am going to focus on workouts instead of weight, i think the scale can be totally…
  • Hang in there! There is usually a pretty simple reason, I would recommend making your food diary public, the most likely reason is diet. There may be calories that are not accounted for. let's start there. It will take time...you are doing great!
  • We have all been there! .....sucks :) I just try to remember i am one party or bbq or cupcake from square one.....after all my hard work. Is that cupcake worth it?......Hell No! I feel so comfortable when i am not bloated. I try and focus on feeling comfortable and not on the taste of that stupid cupcake for that one…
  • Did you just recently increase your workout intensity? If so, your muscles and body are in an adjustment period. You will see results soon....no worries, give it another week or so.
  • Welcome! You will reach your goal! Congratulations on this big step!
  • I need some one to hold me accountable also. I lose and then gain back everything. I will lend support and would love if you could hold me accountable too. Let's get it done. M-
  • No worries, you'll meet friends. Just get yourself out there and do something you're interested in....for yourself. When you are having fun and doing something you really enjoy you will naturally attract friends. It might take a little while but it will happen. There are alot of people in the same situation looking for…
  • I know, it's tough. Maybe post your food diary for other members to review for you and see if it might be your diet. weight training will def. increase your appetite at first (but that's a good thing). Hang in there, as long as you are feeling good and hitting your goals within a reasonable time frame you are doing well.…
