I do log the calories because it helps me get a fair idea of what I can drink next time ;) I always eat lesser the entire day if I know I am going out drinking in the night. Stay away from the scale. The scale WILL show a gain and you don't want to have one more thing to be upset about. Also, drinks loads of water. It helps.

Thanks for your advice everyone! Yes I will. I had gone about a month back and the doctor said it was because I had started to make some changes in my diet and exercise. It's irritating to have such a long period :( Thanks for the concern guys!

Thanks guys...makes sense. My clothes are a little looser and I should be focusing on the small victories that I have each day. And I guess an "off" day is okay once in a while. Gonna work harder!
