I always get my eight hours of sleep in and sometimes more by going to bed by 8:30 or 9:00 pm and then waking by 5am or so to work out. Drink your water and eat your regular meals and I think you should be fine. I don't have any problems but then again we are all different; what works for me may not work for you. :)

I applaud every one of you that have acted an act of kindness. Ringing bells for Salvation Army, opening doors, and sending thankful "I appreciate your service" note cards to stress-filled retail employees are some of my acts.

Thanks for this topic!! I started lifting weights for one whole week and found myself gaining four pounds. I was crushed last Friday when I stepped on the scale. Although I am fearful of what the scale will tell me tomorrow morning, I have since stopped lifting and focusing only on cardio and I am feeling great.

Food, Inc is a great show to watch. After watching that I became a vegetarian and don't miss any of the grease and crap associated with processing and cooking animal products. And as others have mentioned it's just good sense not to have tempting foods in your living space.
