No worries! There's no set format...just log your miles when it's convenient for you!
-
Thanks for sharing! It's a good reminder that you should just trust the process and it will all come in time :-)
-
AWESOME! That's a great loss! Keep going girl and ditch that scale!!!

Sure thing! I'll invite you but feel free to join: http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/group/101010-les-mills-combat-accountability-group

I can't wait until the weather gets better and the days get longer so I can run outside again, too! I'm dying inside haha

Yeah, I looked through all of the HELP options and it says that even I should be able to edit and delete all posts as a moderator, and I'm not! So I guess there's no easy solution but to repost. Sorry everyone! If I figure out an easier/neater way, I'll let you know!
-
Yeah, I can't even delete either! I'll look into that haha. 01/01 - 3.5 miles walked 01/02 - 3 miles walked 01/03 - none 01/04 - 3.5 miles walked 01/05 - 01/06 - 01/07 - total 9.5 miles

That's great progress Becky!! I feel the same way about the nutrition guide. I'm doing 1600 calories since that's what I'm used to haha. But definitely listen to your body and fuel it if necessary! I'm down 5.3 pounds this week! No inches lost, but definitely toning up the areas that need it :-) Good enough for me haha

Anytime they have a calorie recommendation for these programs, I always follow it as a net, rather than a pre-workout number. Beachbody always states that anything lower than 1200 is not good, so I'm hoping so in this case, too! I generally follow 1600 just for this reason, since I normally burn about 400 calories a day…

I can't wait to try that one!!

The Color Run is super fun and it's untimed, so a great one to start with! I ran my first one but the last two I did with my mother who doesn't run, so we walked them. Really fun either way!

Well I moderate this group and I can't even edit my regular post...just the one that I started the thread with. I'm just going to delete my old post and post a new one with the updated information, but you can post on the last day of the week if you'd like! Whatever works best for you!

KIAH!
-
I rarely eat all of my calories back anyways, so it's a decent help.
-
But I just realized, we can only EDIT for one hour. So is the easiest way to just delete our previous post and repost with the updated information? I'm still a little new to this group thing haha

Great idea! 01/01 - 3.5 miles walked 01/02 - 3 miles walked 01/03 - 01/04 - 01/05 - 01/06 - 01/07 - total 6.5 miles

I don't have a heart rate monitor so for each one I just use the pre-loaded BodyCombat ones - 30, 45, or 60 minutes worth. I know it's not as accurate as I want it to be, but oh well.
-
Of course! I'll send you an invite!!

I'm already registered for the Virginia Beach Polar Plunge 5k (doing the plunge, too!) February 7th, the Richmond Monument Ave. 10k March 28th, and the Richmond American Family Fitness Half Marathon November 14th. I'm trying to run at least one race per month this year! I know I'll end up doing a Color Run in there…
-
Glad to have you all here! Hope we can keep each other motivated to reach all of our goals :-)

I posted the picture of the schedule I'm following in the Schedule discussion we were having. And just to make sure, are you sure the schedule you printed does say PiYo not Plyo? They look very similar and people get them confused all the time! Combat does have PLYO, as in plyometrics, while PIYO is pilates/yoga. Just…

I'm not following the nutrition guide, because I still follow the 21 Day Fix eating guidelines pretty closely and they're very similar. It's a good jumpstart though...clean eating is a great detox! I'm sore, too! About to go do Combat 45 and DEFINITELY looking forward to my rest day tomorrow!

Thanks!

I'm Cat, 33, located in Northern VA. I have been a runner for the last few years, recreationally of course, but ran my first half marathon November 15, 2014! Already scheduled to do the Richmond Half next Nov. 14, 2015 and am planning on doing at least one other. Looking to do a full in 2016! :-)
