I really think that comparing cake to a naked person is going way too far. I don't even know how you went from cake to that. My office provides us with sweets such as cake, cookies, donuts, kolaches, fast food and all sorts of things regularly. In fact, they order food nightly. Sure it is tough but you gotta suck it up and…

I use the one from Zen Labs (the one with the breast cancer logo). It is free and has voice alerts so you know when to start and stop each part. It also shows at the top what the day entails and keeps timers for elapsed overall, remaining overall, and current segment remaining. They have a great community on their FB fan…

If this is how he's been since you started dating, then you can't expect change now. You can try to include him in your activities, eat together, exercise together, etc for motivation, but it'd be different if he was in "shape" when you met him and tried for a different body but the fact is that he wasn't. You can't change…

I am 5'2 and 132. I have 17 pounds to lose. That is a lot on a small frame and about 2 sizes. The thing that works for me is 1200 calories. This is about what I consumed daily when I did the MyFitFoods 21 Day Challenge. Granted, at the time I was not working out, however, I did lose 4.5 lbs in that 3 weeks. I am now doing…

Also, the way I see it, there are always variances in actual calorie content of meals. Keeping mine low ensures that I'm still right around my goal even if I go over by a few.

I am right there with you. I am 5'2 with an ideal weight of about 115 lbs. Because of the way I eat, I have no problems consuming between 1000 and 1200 calories a day. When I ate more, I lost no weight even with exercise. I do not find myself hungry at 1200 calories (except for those occasional cravings, which aren't…

stonerdude: stonerdude: To stonerdude: No comments necessary. I believe this says it all.

Thank you to everyone that posted real comments! I suppose there are many theories on the idea and I will be in search of FDA information regarding the situation. Thank you especially to nuclearbanana and pixiechik who tried to provide more factual evidence and not just assume that it's okay to go overboard.

Look for "manager's special" at the grocery store. Many of these items are at their "sell by" date but can still be frozen for a period (such as meat) or they last beyond "sell by" (such as yogurt which often lasts a week beyond and can also be frozen). You may also opt to do this daily which does result in more visits to…

I hate telling people and then they respond by telling me how I don't need to or to "look at [me], need to lose weight! Not [you]!" People react strangely and I do better keeping things private myself.

Whole foods would likely stay away from that extra crap. It may still not be "healthy" - it's still sausage.

I did 200 crunches of 9 variations and I can feel it today. Woo!!!!!! Anyway, I wanted to post before midnight last night as asked but don't have a computer at home and couldn't find it on my phone. Actually, I didn't even know how to find it until I did on accident just now! (I just started this site/app yesterday.) Next…

:noway: I already have a spare tire!?!? Oh man! Can't wait to lose that!

It's not that I want anyone to know how much I weigh but I've always thought it was a great idea to better yourself. This website was also designed for people who have goals of gaining and maintaining weight. Most people aren't on here searching to see who is "fat". Anyone on here either is in the same situation or is open…

I will use my Daily Ab Workout free app which has 10 differenct crunches at about 15 crunches each. Haven't done this in a while!
