My grandmother used to take pear halves ( canned in light syrup) and put a big dollop of cottage cheese in the center and then a tbs of creamy PB on top.....I LOVE it...and it always brings back such fond memories!

can of chicken finely chopped and mixed with 1tbs of light mayo and 3tbs favorite salsa...(i use mango salsa)..portion it and wrap in saran wrap and grab to go with a couple lettuce or cabbage leaves...yummy and satisfying! or put on celery or bread...tortilla? You choose!

I don' t restrict what I eat while dieting, I just use portion control and keep under my calorie goal for the day. So I don"t necessarily have a cheat day, I just work whatever it is into my day. You've got some great advice already! The only additional suggestion I can make (as a frequent traveler) is to bring some healthy snacks with you. That way if you are stuck on a flight or elsewhere where there are limited food options, you have something to tide you over until you can make a better choice. You won't end up…
