I have the SAME problem...it's so aggravating! And it's true you need at least two, if not three bras to make it work sometimes, BUT I recently found these: Champion All-Out Support II Full Figure Wirefree Sports Bra from onehanesplace.com. A friend of mine who is a well-endowed runner told me about them. I was a skeptic…

Negative people suck! But if you are serious about weight loss then you need to take a step back and look at your life and who you surround yourself with...negative people have a tendency to drag others down with them...and some of us (me included) are more easily swayed by some than by others. I think you may enjoy this…

Losing 9 pounds in a month is great! And it was probably that excited push that you get when you first start losing weight...a lot of people lose a big number quickly then sort of plateau. But you can read around and see what others are doing to break that. But here are some suggestions/thoughts: 1. Maybe you are…

"So again, please, try to actually be my fitness pals, not my fitness judge and jury." Ahhh, thank you - SOMEONE needed to say that! I get embarrassed at some of the off-topic, personal tirades that go on in the forums. Each person is different. I can't/won't do on 1200 cal per day, but that's me and MFP recommends 1500…

^^^^^Exactly, this!!!^^^^^^^ If you don't make the changes in a way in which you get comfortable with them then you will be overwhelmed and give up! You can't just wait around for a leprechaun to jump out of no where and say "OK, on to the next change", you do have to push yourself, but that is part of setting smaller,…

Focus on how your clothes fit, not the number on the scale.

Have you ever tried any pilates or ballet (pure Barre) exercises?

The boots I bought at the end of last winter that were too tight on my calves are officially falling down and need to be constantly pulled up...and I'm not complaining!

Mayo liver boiled okra stewed tomatoes mayo peanut brittle - what?!?!? it makes my teeth hurt!

Good work! Keep moving! I had an NSv today that was kind of odd. I bought some dressy shoes a while back for a funeral, I wore them to the funeral and promptly got in the car and removed them. Today though, I've worn them all day...I think this comes from having lost nearly 30 pounds, my feet don't swell and are able to…

That has to be a wonderful feeling! Keep up the good work!

Great topic! Great!!!!

Try setting smaller goals for yourself. My first goal was to drink more water...at least 8 cups a day. Then I set my sights on 5 pounds lost. Then 10 lbs. lost. Then I wanted to mix it up some, so I set a goal to pack my lunch everyday. Then the first "big" goal was to lose 10% of my starting bosy weight...done. Up next, I…

Me too!! ;)

My bad! You actually asked for healthy lunches! tuna on a spinach salad with lots of veggies a low carb wrap with the meat of your choice, veggies and hummus grilled chicken on a salad If you are someone who eats out a lot at lunch...use the food tracker to pre-determine what might be a good choice. Always ask for dressing…

I agree, if you are still hungry have something else. Maybe something with protein, like peanut butter or a boiled egg that will help you feel full longer. I make smoothies for breakfast sometimes too. And sometimes it fills me up, sometimes not. I do use greek yogurt and protein powder in mine. And occassionally, if I…

Yes! You cleaned your mirror and your face looks thinner, jeans not as tight! :) Congrats! PS I really like the idea of using the same outfit to show differences!!

EXACTLY! I'm on the fence with sizes, I can wear up and in some stuff I can wear down, but I have to go to twice as many places to figure out what fits right now...and sorry, I can't/won't walk around all the time in ill fitting clothes (even at my largest). And I'm not talking about workout gear, I could care less what I…

35 last May...ohholyhell, I'm almost halfway to 36! Note to self: I will look and feel better at 36 than I've felt in at least 10 years!!!

There are plenty of meds that can be prescribed that come with their own discount cards...I get mine for $30/30 day supply. You just need to ask around. There are also generics that are very good. Maybe you need to visit the health department and see if they can help you...just a suggestion! I know what it's like dealing…

Congratulations on all you've done so far! First off, do you remember the story about the tortise and the hare? Slow and steady...eventually you'll be so comfortable that 45 mintues will fly by!!! I agree with several of the other posters, start slow, work your way up by adjusting time and resistance as you go. Before long…

Sounds like my yesterday...but then I went to bed, woke up and started over. New day, clean slate!!!

I guess I should mention...ours are red fire ants! And they do not fly...they just bite, bite, bite!!!!

WE've tried the cream of wheat thing, the grits thing, cornmeal...then we moved to the store bought granules and sprays. All it seems to do is encourage the ants to hide underground for a few days and then move the mound! Last week, I saw gas (maybe diesel) being poured onto mounds in a field near where I work...seems a…
