I really like runmeter (you can walk with it too).

28 or 8? Calling someone names isn't acceptable, ever. Even in anger. Your husband sounds like he has some issues of his own. What he is doing is abusive & manipulative-and its working. The only advice I can suggest is to see a counselor/therapist-even if its on your own. You do not deserve that treatment. And if you'll…

Can you take the kid out for a walk or go to a playground?

I workout after work too. The trick for me is to *immediately* get changed into my workout clothes before I do anything else when I get home. If I sit down for "just a few minutes"', it turns into the whole night. Sometimes I'll change at work before leaving. As far as my period, I go by how I feel. It's ok to give…

You "encourage" women by telling them that if they don't have "T" or "A" they aren't "normal"? Umm, no thanks. You can keep your encouragment & messed up definition of women (hint: I am more than my T&A).

Yes, definite difference. You are doing great!

Clementines!

If I read your original post correctly, you've lost 11lbs since October. That's great! What's the problem? (You need to give yourself time)

"And if that's a legitimate question, then you are either completely uneducated or just foolish" Be careful of that mirror you keep staring into. Why are you eating that entire bag of chocolate? Is it because you like it? Hungry? Or do you feel you have to & can't stop yourself?

I want to eat the photo. :-)

Alcohol is a depressant and can do some funny things to your brain. if you abuse it long enough it can even make you believe it's the solution, when in fact it's the problem. My honest advice? See a therapist. It can really help to talk to someone who has an outside perspective & doesn't have the problem of skewed…

You'll see what you're looking for & you'll hear what you're listening for. The world (and this place) is just a mirror. Why are you listening to the people that call you an idiot for having a piece of cake?

I like to add vanilla almond milk & let the sit a bit until they turn into a "pudding". Nice, filling dessert.

That would only explain why she *isn't with men*, not why she would have a sexual attraction to females. At best, that explanation would mean she's asexual. Being sexually attracted to your own gender/sex is not the same as NOT being attracted to the opposite.

Yup. Those straight people and their weird lifestyle choice. I really can't understand how they live that way either. I'm tolerant of them because some of my best friends are straight, and they seem like nice enough folks. Still. I pity them because they were obviously influenced by the straight culture that surrounds them.

"Also if any other information is needed... I currently weigh 137 pounds, and I'm 5"5. I would eventually like to weigh around 125 pounds." You are already well within a healthy BMI range. If you are trying to appear "smaller", you need to focus in changing your body composition, not weight loss. Focus on strength training…

Some people can't accept gratitude graciously either. Happy Thanksgiving to you as well.

The only way you "undo" all of your work is to stop altogether. You made a mistake. Its ok. You are not going to gain all of the weight you took off. You might see a *temporary* gain, but it will disappear as long as you keep going. You ate 1,120 calories. That's all. Not even enough to gain one pound of fat. Make you next…

During the actual race? T-shirt & capris. You might want to bring a light jacket or pull-over for after the race. Generally, i assume I will feel 10 degrees hotter than the ambient temps while im running.

I ride a bike everyday for work. Because its part of my daily life, I don't log it as "exercise". However, I run almost every day too. But I specifically set aside that time & activity for fitness (as opposed to a daily routine like walking, climbing stairs, or commuting to work, etc) so I log. I guess what I mean is that…

I live on the border of Columbia Heights/Adams Morgan. I usually run in the Cleveland Park area. The Mall is always a nice choice too, especially at night. I don't get over to H St NE much, but I always have a good time when I do. Check out The Daily Rider if you need a bike/supplies. SOVA is one of my favorite coffee…

I have a Mophie Juice Pack-its basically a case with a battery in it. Doubles the battery life of my iphone. Slim profile, too.

Have you ever heard the story of the howling dog? A man was walking by a house one day, and noticed a dog lying on the porch that was howling and moaning. The dog's owner was sitting on the porch, not minding the dog. The dog kept howling & wimpering. 'What's wrong with your dog?", the passerby asked the man. "He's laying…

Well I guess if its on the Internet, it must be true!

I have a Polar Ft4 and its been very useful. I've used it for the last two years, and only had to change the watch battery once. It gives me my HR & calories burned, as well as how long I'm actually in my target zone. Plus it displays a cake on my birthday ;-) I checked on Amazon and you can pick one up for about $65.

One week isn't really enough time to judge. Water weight, hormones, and a myriad of other factors can contribute to weight fluctuations. I would give it 6 weeks, at a minimum, to decide whether something is working. You need to see consistent loss. With that said, if you are truly hungry, then eat something. Just don't…

How long have you been using the BMF?
-
You might. But it's ok. It's not the end of the world. It's simply life. Stuff happens. You just keep going anyway. And that weight will come right back off. Part of any lifestyle change is learning to be okay when life throws obstacles in our way. Hurricanes happen. We get injured. A family member or loved one gets sick…

I like runmeter (and cyclemeter for biking) because it links with dailymile.com, and it can sync with my wahoo fitness HRM. The GPS is fairly good. I had some issues, but overall it's been fine (it was spot on when I used it during a 5K race). It also comes with free training programs (5K & 10K, half & full marathon).…
