I generally go two days of the same number range (or lower) before putting it in. So for example I saw 207.8 today but yesterday I saw 208.6 and the day before 209.2. I know you are measuring success by your clothing, but if you are starting on the heavier end of things, that isn't the best indicator of weight loss. Honestly, I would suggest you look into intermittent fasting. I am never hungry in the mornings but load up late at night and that kind of eating works really well for me. Or of course, as said above, save those calories for the evening.
