I'm almost out of my Cytomax. Good stuff, I like the fruit punch too. I just bought VPX's CarbonX the other day as it was on sale. Lemonade tasted pretty good. 1 scoop of Cytomax left then I switch to CarbonX for all my workouts.

Thanks everyone for your replies. I grabbed some wristbands the other day and took them on Monday night's 10k. Just a quick tip to keep in mind: chest workouts use your pecs as the primary muscle in performing the exercise. The secondary muscle is the triceps. So if you workout chest and biceps on day 1, then day 2 you work back and triceps, you've basically worked your triceps 2 days in a row, not enough recovery time. This…

I agree that whatever you're doing now, keep doing it. It's gotten you this far so it works. =) Also, to put things into perspective: think of someone that's running their very first 10k. What would you tell them about nutrition?

Even if it's a little cool in the morning, you'll start sweating & getting hot soon. Wear a garbage bag with a hole poked through for your head. Honestly I don't watch his program very often. Maybe once a month I'll pass by the channel (I don't watch much TV). So yeah, I can see how having a TV program and many people trying to lose weight for summer would motivate him to promote things like this. Thanks :smile:

Very well said! Just to put things into perspective: for some, running a 5k is a major accomplishment. And I agree it IS something to applaud! I don't think it's the distance that makes it noteworthy but rather the individual(s).
