All of this!!!

I agree that you look like you should be on maintenance and if you aren't happy with how you look maybe do some strength training. I didn't see anything wrong with your food for the last few days but I didn't look at you workouts and you didn't log water. If you are sore from workouts then you are retaining water though.

I find exercise helps but you could plan ahead for those days and maybe try a workout that is a little different from what you normally do. Even if it is just taking a nice walk on those days. A recovery week here or there isn't a bad thing. Also, don't feel bad about the chocolate. If you know you are going to crave it…

When you were a baby and learning to walk, did you give up the first time you fell down? The second time? The twentieth time? One speed bump doesn't ruin it all or mean you failed. You can only fail if you give up and you have had plenty of things in the past that you kept trying at until you got it done. You can do it…

Following! I'm 5'3" and am on Synthroid and Cytomel. I was super close to my goal weight before I got pregnant with my 3rd baby and apparently needed the ratio adjusted which resulted in gaining more than I did with either of my other pregnancies. I am now trying to keep that all sorted out with my doctor as there is so…

I really want to but it's a four hour drive for me and that wouldn't workout. I have high hopes for next year!

There is nothing wrong with kind of simmering at where you are now for a while. Let your body kind of feel happy where you are after all this wight loss that you have already made happen and focus on your studies for a bit so long as you don't let it slide. Just focus on maintenance for a little while. You may find that if…

If you are regularly eating foods that are higher in sodium and/or aren't drinking enough water, you could continue to have extra water weight for a while but even then, if you are still losing real weight there should be some downward trend. Soooo it could have jumped up a couple lbs from water and be holding that but if…

My forearms...they are kinda muscly for a girl. :)

I had my 3rd and final last September but with a c-section, I couldn't start getting back at it for a few weeks. Add me if you'd like. Here's to getting it done for the last time!

Happy birthday! Great job on working hard and making huge progress!

Find someone you can talk to and help you through this. You seem to want to be healthy, you just need to be able to take things one choice at a time and it may help to feel like you have someone that can lend you some of their strength.

1/2 cup rolled oats in a sauce pan with 1 1/4 cup almond milk (put the oats in at the same time as the almond milk) 1 tbs packed brown sugar 2 tbs cocoa powder 1 tbs powdered peanut butter a little vanilla or cinnamon After the oats are fully cooked, remove from heat and stir in all other ingredients. It will thicken…

Quinoa and veg. You can get a pretty big serving of it and feel full for relatively low calories. I use water with just a little veg base or half that and half orange juice and lots of celery, onion and some carrot. It's great over chicken or salmon but totally fine as is.

There are stretches that can help prevent shin splints (I won't try to explain but there are lots of youtube videos). Also, slow down your pace and try to avoid having your heel hit first. Heel striking often causes shin splints as well as knee pain. For some people that is the opposite though. Avoid running on sidewalks.…

If you are moving your feet and putting a lot of power into the bag you would get a great burn. I imagine it would be hard for most people to go hard for a full hour though.

Yes, weigh everything! And weight in grams not oz.

You need running shoes with a larger toe box. The same thing happened to me when I first started running.

Awesome job!

I feel pretty much the same as your first paragraph and to some extent how you do with the second but not as much. One thing that helps me is to find at least one thing that I do like about myself. For me, it started with my forearms...weird, I know. For you, it could be something as simple as your left eye. As I make…

Just make one healthy change every week or two and then when you start to see the lbs come off, let that fuel you to keep going. Also, you could try tracking everything you eat for a few days just to see what you are really eating. That might ge good motivation in and of itself.

You should try to stick with the same thing for at least four weeks. Also, how long have you been trying to lose weight? Do you weigh and measure everything? What exercise are you doing and are you just using mfp's estimate for calories burned?

Fantastic choice under the circumstances! It could have been sooo much worse!

Add me if you wish. I have three kids (5 years down to 6 months). I'm working my way back down to a happy weight!

I love how everyone is aging backwards!

I would say you are active and then add in that you exercise about 9 hours a week. I have a hunch that you don't sit around all day the rest of the time either...even if it is just moving your legs when sitting or fidgeting a lot. I could be totally wrong but even if I am I would stick with active when you input your info.

For those of you hypo's (low) that are having a hard time losing weight despite medication and testing in normal range, you may want to ask about using a t-3 med as well as the t-4 you are taking. It has made all the difference for me!

Ask at work if there is a possibility of getting a standing desk with a tall chair so you can alternate between sitting and standing. Walk on at least one of your breaks. Keep a large water bottle with you and use it. Add in one serving of fresh or frozen veg a day. Never give up! You will have bad days. You will mess up.…
