I show 'em off as proof of my hard-a** work. Be proud girl :)

If he isn't supporting the lifestyle you have chosen, then he isn't supporting you as a mutual partner. Love is accepting in all forms. You need to be bluntly honest with him. Guys don't pick up on hidden emotions or hints (most times).

Gotcha. I am actually from Waxahatchie, TX originally :) I can't say I enjoy running in the cold much either, but it sure beats running on a treadmill! Best of luck to you finding a solution! Hopefully it will just warm up for you though ;)

Yeah, like we mentioned, I probably have some genetics in my favor. It is still very hard for me, and a very slow process. I agree, more research needs to be done.

Where in Texas is it cold????? Excuse my skepticality (if that's a word), but I live in Alaska. I run in the cold all year. As for advice, not a whole lot you can do except wear a face mask.

You, good sir, are my hero!

Girl I often have a couple plates to hold my dinner. No shame. Look at my dinner today. It will easily take at least two plates to eat, yet the entire meal is under 400 calories. Healthy, wholesome foods take up more space and take up less calories :)

I'm gonna name one of my workouts after you.
-
The only lifts I do are Squat Bench Press Bent Over Row Over Head Press Deadlifts All those lifts engage all the muscles in my body. Some days I'll add in core and plank exercises if I feel that they were not supporting me sufficiently in that workout. The only time I'll really lift differently is when I do crossfit. I'll…

Yeah that's what I have considered as well. I know what works for me works for a small percentage of those out there trying to drop BF%. Just figured I would throw it out there since the worst that can happen while eating at maintenence is stay the same. You have definitely come a long way from 124lbs! Hard work does pay…

Wine. And then some more wine. And when I'm really thirsty.... wine.

I don't follow a strict 5x5 program, a variation you could say, but I do train HEAVY on a 3-4 days a week. Honestly, I am so spent after my training that usually I don't have the energy for cardio. If I want to do cardio, usually in the form of HIIT, I plan a lighter training session for beforehand, or I do my HIIT on a…

I will speak from personal experience. I eat at maintenence and don't seem to have trouble gaining muscle while losing fat. Granted, this is a VERY SLOW process and I do lots of HEAVY LIFTING. And I mean HEAVY. I also eat very well. No processed foods, no GMOs, nothing I can't make myself at home. Not going to lie, I don't…

It's the same way here. Unfortunately, we'll have a warm day, the snow will get 70% gone, and then BAM 18 inches of snow overnight. Ugh. Mother Nature is a tease.

Honey, I live in Alaska. Bi*** please.

Fat has more calories per gram (9 per gram vs. 4 per gram of carbs and protein) Take a look at my diary. I eat upwards of 2300 daily. Nuts, avocados, lean meats, and of course ALL the nut butters :) That will bring your calories up before you know it.

Alaska I win And I lift Double win

I eat it. Then move on. I don't punish myself with ridiculous workouts or fasting. I eat what I want when I want it and continue my healthy lifestyle the rest of the time. Indulgence in moderation is not a sin.

And that is why Chuck Norris is good company to keep.

Lift weights. Real weights. Heavy weights. Although this seems contradictary, strengthening those muscles, supporting muscles, ligaments, tendons, and so on and so forth, may help ease your pain. But I am not a doctor, so I have to add a disclaimer. DISCLAIMER: Do not start a new exercise regiment withouth proper consent…

Amen! Liftin' all the heavy sh** makes our bodies sexy fit

Smash PRs and make people eat my dust.

These rednecks you speak of carry concealed and would save your a** if some idiot tried to harm you.

You are not a crazy parent at all. What my parents did was waaaaay out of the norm and definitely not something I would expect any other parent to do. And my parents didn't "give" me my own gun. I wasn't allowed my own gun until grade school, and even then, it was only brought out when we went hunting, target shooting,…

I am serious. They believed that in a gun bearing state like MT it was imperitive that I know how to properly handle a weapon if I were to ever come across one by accident. They weren't teaching me how to be a sniper or olympic level shot. They were trying to prevent an unneccesary accident. My dad made special rubber…

I was handed my first gun at age 2. I was brought up knowing how to properly use, clean, shoot etc... But the first thing I was taught was to always check to see if the gun was loaded. You bet your a** I carry concealed, and I plan to instill the same principles in my children. If not for them, for the safety of the people…

Too bad. I'm 91.
