My opinion is just that people shouldn't concern themselves with other people's personal life decisions. What other people do with their lives is their business not ours.

This thread makes my world go 'round. My shopping list just grew.

Maybe setting a good example by purchasing healthy, wholesome choices is the example you should worry about setting for children. Kids pay attention to their parents decisions more than anyone else's, so don't worry about anyone but yourself and maybe other parents will catch on when they notice that parents who make…

Take the average of the two totals. That's what I did, because I know sometimes my intensity is higher some weeks than others. I judge my time spent working out by intensity rather than actual time spent.
-
Yeah pretty much. I always make sure I hit my carbs on lifting days with a good amount of protein and then nail protein on recovery days. Timing isn't that big of a deal as long as you hit your targets.

and wine..... wait, I think they knew....

Depends on the kind of cardio you plan on doing. If you plan on doing the long sustained cardio like you mentioned, maybe only twice a week. Then on a third cardio day do something more intense like HIIT, jump rope, jumping jacks, or just something more challenging in general. Overall I think 3 days a week is probably a…

I think your cal intake is fine IMO but I would completely switch your workout routine. That much cardio can definitely be too much. I won't condemn cardio completely, but it is not nearly as important as strength training. Here is a short synopsis of what I do: Heavy lifting 3-4x a week Cardio no more than 2x a week and…

They're all jealous, pretentious bishes. And don't forget to create a thread complaining about my response.

Doctors and pcp's, in most cases, know the bare minimum, if anything at all, about nutrition and a body's nutritional needs. You need to see a dietitian or nutritionist to get proffesionally recommended help catered to your body. I will not give you my personal opinion on what you should or shouldn't be eating, because I…

Not high at all. Me: 5'7" 140lbs 19.5% BF 2300cals a day Depending on your body compostition, that may not even be enough. I would stay in the upper end of that range.

I have maintained for 4 months now. Height: 5'7" Weight: 140 (19.5%BF) Age: 20 avg cals: 2100-2300 depending on the day BW multiplier: 15-16.43 ETA: Heavy lifting 3-5x a week plus HIIT on lighter day once a week. Occasional long run.

I require myself to have an exercise rest day at least twice a week. I don't do much cardio, just heavy lifting, so the recovery time is essential. As for my eating habits, if I want something that wouldn't normally be deemed "healthy" I eat it. I move on. I'll fit the rest of my day around it. I find that labeling an…

Gaawwwd I would take either right now. I'm hangry. But I do prefer the flavor of bison over beef.

Grillin' hot wings and beer. What happens after that will be up to the beer. There is lots of camping and hunting here....

First, I am glad that you are coming to the realization that your eating habits need to change in order to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Second, most all doctors and pcp's are not knowledgable in nutrition to the extent that qualifies them to give nutritional advice. And lastly, increasing your calories is the right…

If Dr. Oz didn't preach it than it can't work.

OnDemand can skip commercials..... More intensity, less breaks.... More loss
