I'm way out in the boonies, but I work in the east valley :)

Ha! I'm pulling the "I just had a baby" card until my son is 30 years old ;)

I've heard of it, but never known anyone to have it. I work with a bunch of OBGYNs and they say a lot of the "symptoms" after a tubal are more of a result of not taking hormonal birth control anymore. Lots of people who were previously on birth control pills/patches/rings etc stop taking all of that once the tubes are…

If they are in good shape, I say sell them. Try craiglist or your local buy-sell-trade page (I frequent one on FB). If you donate them, then you're out all that $ you spent. At least if you sell them, you can get some of your $ back and put it away to buy new clothes when you're down a size again!

Full time RN, full time mommy to a 4yr old little girl and a 20mo old little boy. It's exhausting! Feel free to add me :)

Recently celebrated the 1st anniversary of my 29th birthday ;)

Congrats! I had to giggle at this post because when I weighed in this morning I was less than a pound away from being "overweight." So by this time next week, hopefully I can jump off the obese train too!

I mentioned before I had bleeding issues on 2 separate ocassions after the nasty scabs broke off (probably from talking too much). It was profuse bleeding: like it was pouring out faster than I could spit it out, hence I ended up swallowing blood, and that made me want to puke my guts out. I was fortunate that my ENT was a…

It's a pointless "holiday" in my opinion. We don't celebrate it. We make our wedding anniversary our "lovey dovey holiday," and we don't usually go all out for that either.

Good luck! I had my tonsillectomy when I was 17 and it was the most miserable dang surgery I've ever been through (I've also had 2 c-sections and a back surgery). My parents were considerate enough *rolling eyes* to schedule my surgery during spring break of my senior year of highschool. I was miserable my whole spring…

I was an RN for several years before having my first child... Fast forward, and I have a c-section with 1st baby. It's time for the foley to come out the next morning. Hours go by, and my RN is harassing me about not having peed since the foley came out. When I finally get the urge to go, I overflow the hat in the toilet.…

We're almost twins, I just need to grow an inch and drop a few years in age ;)

You all look amazing! I'm hoping I get to join you in the next year! (I'm 5'4 and looking to shed some serious weight!)

Zofran and phenergan got me through my 2 pregnancies. Good luck. With my girl, I literally puked every day until she was born. The zofran and phenergan made the difference between puking 8-9 times and puking 1-2 times a day.

LOL. I didn't read any of the other replies, but I have small children AND dogs, and the children are MUCH messier than the dogs in my house. I wouldn't worry about the dog crawling into bed with your little precious ones ;) My pediatrician once told me having pets helps build up the kids' immunities.

Arthur's Theme (Best That You Can Do) Christopher Cross ... never heard of it ETA: looked it up on youtube, and I totally know the song, just never knew the title :)

Hey there! I started (re-started) this back in the beginning of December and still managed to lose during the holidays. I started with about 50lbs to lose and I am getting there SLOWLY but surely. You too can do this! I'm in AZ, and we can pretend I'm still 20-something ;) Feel free to add me!

Well I had big plans to put it into our savings, but it seems our refrigerator is on it's last leg. So I guess I'll be buying a dang refrigerator.

LOL nope. Blew through the rest of mine a month ago :) You used to be able to stock up on OTC meds (tylenol, ibuprofen, etc) but this year they changed it to where you need a Rx to use a FSA card to pay for OTC items. Lame. Good luck spending your hard earned money!

Yeah I didn't expect it to be cheap, but it seems like it would still be cheaper than real hardwood. I hate that my carpet traps all the dog hair. I have to brush it out of the joints in the stairs before I even vacuum it, then it's not really fun to get down on my hands and knees to vacuum with the attachments. I wonder…

Would it be any more slippery than wood?

I haven't looked, but seeing as I live in a "cookie cutter" neighborhood, I'm sure it's just cheapy plywood.

I have young kids, but we let my kids open ONE gift on Christmas Eve. However, mom picks out the gift, and it's always new PJs to wear to bed that night, or a new outfit to wear to church.

Batteries. For all the other dang toys under the tree :)

I guess I should have clarified that my daughter's temps would get to be 103-105 even after taking tylenol and motrin around the clock. Does your son have any other symptoms? When my daughter would get the "virus" (as her ped kept calling it) she would have fever, vomitting, and on physical exam, inflamed tonsils, but…
