  • I think I could have written your post! I'm a mom, youngest is 10. I'm restarting MFP for the 5 billionth time (exaggerating, but do easily fall off the wagon). Anyone, feel free to add me.
  • Me too! Habitual re-starter 39F Mom to 2 Night shift nurse
  • I am a habitual re-starter, back at it again too! Feel free to add me 🙂 39F Mom to 2 Night shift nurse
  • I'm 36, mom of 2 + 2 bonus kids (newlywed in 2017
  • Sounds like I have similar goals. Restarting this (I lost over 30 lbs on MFP several years ago but gained it back and then some after a stressful divorce). Currently about 200, first goal to get to 180, then work my way to 150 eventually. 36 yo, 5'4", use fitbit. If you all started a group, please add me!
  • I work 3 nights a week (12hr)but can't seem to get it together. My nights vary from week to week and on my days off I'm trying to function on a "day" schedule like the rest of my family. This is like my 4th start at MFP over the last several years, and honestly, I was the most successful when I was working 12hr days
  • Haha. I think this is about my 3rd time to "join" MFP too. I lost 35lbs a few years back, but gained it all back when life got rough. Feel free to add me!
  • I've never done weight watchers, but I've restarted MFP a few times. We have similar stats and goal. Feel free to add me!
  • Good luck in your schooling. It's tough. It's hard to be healthy working as an RN, between long shifts, atypical work hours, no time for lunch breaks etc. I find myself eating lots of junk because I can stuff snacks in my mouth and work at the same time.
  • I'm still trying to pull the "I'm losing baby weight" card. My baby is almost 7 years old. *sigh* Feel free to add me!
  • Good luck!
  • You sound like me... 5'4", 2 kids (age 3 and 5), shift work (I'm an RN). Feel free to add me!
  • Nursing school was the worst 5 years of my life! That's when I packed on the majority of my weight. Good luck and glad to see you here :)
  • Just stumbled across this group today. Feel free to add me, I work in WIS :)
  • I'll join you all in toddler hell... I'm a full time working mommy. My princess is 4.5yrs old, going on 25, and a bundle full of sassy. My little man is in the terrible 2's and I fear for my sanity, as I know the 3's get worse. I've lost 35lbs, but keep falling off the bandwagon. I'm in dire need of a recommittment.…
  • I've been told I'm the love child of Michelle Rodriguez, and Kimberly Locke (on American Idol a million years ago.) ETA pic
  • I'm totally going to try this. I'm always trying to figure out ways to get my kids to eat more protein and this sounds like a winner! Thanks for sharing :)
  • I made my diary public... I always exceed my daily protein allowance that MFP set for me, and I tend to net between 1400-1500 cals a day. I think hypothryoid is great idea as well, but 2 weeks ago I had a whole panel of bloodwork done (thyroid panel included) because I was having dizzy spells and feeling fatigued, but…
  • Good thinking! I have PCOS, been diagnosed with it since 2005, and this has never happened before (except after each of my pregnancies). At my last well check a few months back, everything seemed under control. If it IS related to the PCOS, I wonder why I would be having this symptom now after so many years.
  • LOL. I'm actually quite disappointed by this "side effect' and have been trying to brainstorm how I can fund an augmentation/lift when all is said and done ;)
  • I work in a hospital. I'm always chatting it up with random visitors and family at the nurses station, nothing out of the ordinary for me. One day this nice guy walks by the nurses station, and we had a generic conversation. I asked if he knew where he was going (easy to get lost in the hospital) and he says "yes my wife…
  • I'm not a runner, but I work 12+ hrs on my feet. I wear Asics or Saucony to work, and my feet don't hurt at the end of the day. LOVE them! ETA: I have about 3 pair at any given time that I rotate through during the week. They last me over a year, but I suspect it's because I don't wear them every single day.
  • Do other coconut oils have a scent? I've seen a few of you post "it smells great." I have this stuff, and it doesn't smell like anything... http://www.louana.com/product-detail.aspx?productID=75&catID=44&pcatID=37
  • To those who have mentioned side effects of metformin, have you tried the extended release version? I had to take that for a couple months just to get used to it, but the gastrointestinal side effects were much milder on the extended release. I transitioned to the "regular" stuff eventually, just becuase the extended…
  • We're pretty close... 30yo, 5'4, 171lbs (hoping to get to 145ish), mom of 2 (4.5yo girl/ 21mo boy). Always looking for more support. Please feel free to add me :)
  • Fun times. 2000mg of metformin, and 50mg of clomid got me baby #1. Baby #2 we got on a lower dose of metformin and no clomid, but I had dropped about 10lbs. I don't know if that was just luck, but it took us 1.5yrs to conceive #1 and a mere 2 months to conceive #2. Now that I've dropped even more weight, my cycles are more…
  • Awesome!!! You're doing so well. Keep up the good work! I haven't attempted to buy new pants yet, I just keep cinching down my belt tighter (I'm cheap!). One of these days I'll have to give in and spend the $, so maybe I can follow in your ranks :)
  • I wish I was closer. I've always wanted to try Zumba :)
  • We live in Casa Grande (love the small town feel, but we're still close enough to the "big city", being only about 30mins away from Chandler/Ahwatukee). I have lived all over this state. I have previously lived in Mesa, Queen Creek, Tucson and Yuma.
