    I moved to Arizona from Illinois in mid July to do a term of service with AmeriCorps VISTA. I am living in Beaver Creek which is in the Verde Valley. it looks like everyone on here is from either Tuscon or PHX. anyone in Yavapai county?! I don't mind driving!! I need friends, and work out buddies! (I'm only an hour from Flagstaff too)

    We live in Casa Grande (love the small town feel, but we're still close enough to the "big city", being only about 30mins away from Chandler/Ahwatukee). I have lived all over this state. I have previously lived in Mesa, Queen Creek, Tucson and Yuma.

    Hi, I am in Congress. I was stationed in Ft. Huachuca (near Sierra Vista) way back in 1969. When I left the Army I moved to Phoenix in 1973. Moved to Mesa in 1981. Then moved here to Congress in 2006. Love the desert! Been on MFP for a few years now. Glad there is a group for all the Arizonans.

    We live in east Mesa now, but we'll be moving to central Phoenix as soon as we're done remodeling our "new" (built in 1942) house.

    I am from Surprise too. Lol I felt that way when i first moved here but the neighborhood I live in now is full of a bunch of families with young kids.

    Prescott's such a cool town. My wife and I like to go there a few times a year to shop for antiques. Loads of antique stores there! :smile:
