  • He's in the military so he works out all the time. Usually he goes for long runs but lately has realized that his 30's are catching up with him and just running isn't keeping him from gaining weight anymore. He saw how rocking ChaLean was for me with my first round and joined in on my 2nd. I love having a workout buddy! It…

  • I am the same way. Every spring/summer I maintain or lose, every fall I put some weight back on. I know it is a combination of pumpkin treat overdose (and of course, soon the holidays) and moving less. I'm determined not to do either of those things this year.

  • I'm another lover of ChLean Extreme! I'm on my second round now. I love the heavy lifting and lost over all 18" last time. I have fewer inches to lose now so I'm certainly not expecting the same results with the second round but I feel it is a great program.
  • Uggggghhhhhhh! Week 1 weight: 167.4 (+2 lbs) WTF?
  • Week 0 start weight: 165.4 lbs
  • My post has nothing to do with the weigh in topic, but your post caught my eye because of your ticker. I'm a Coastie Wife. :)
  • ChaLean Extreme! Oh, and I run two or three days a week too.
  • Hi! I'm Amanda. I'm a 31 yr old Coastie wife, mom of 3, and student. I have PCOS and tend to lose weight very, very slowly (which is why it has taken me three years to lose almost 60 lbs, with only ups and downs of the same 5 lbs over the last year) but I'm tired of this. I've been stuck at about 160-165 for the last year…
  • I'm doing my second round too! I lost about 18" overall with my first round and am hoping round 2 gets me to my size/weight goal. I actually started round 2 in August but injured myself playing softball and had to stop. I guess I'm on take 2 of round 2 now!
  • I restarted my second round on Monday. :) I'll send you a friend request. I completed my first round of ChaLean in July and started a second round in August, but sprained my ankle playing softball. Now I'm good to try it again!
  • My overhang has improved a lot with weight loss and weight lifting, but it is still there. Adding in strength training went a long way in improving the "deflated butt" syndrome my stomach has, but what drives me the most insane is that I have two different c-section scars (one from my first two kids, the other from my 3rd…
  • Has anyone used the bands for the program? I'm heading out on a 3 week vacation so taking my weights with me is a little impractical. I just hope I can get as good of a workout done with the bands as weights. Or at least enough to keep me going until I'm home and ready to pick up the iron again.
  • I did the program mostly as set, but did play softball once a week in addition to this. Every once in a while I switched out a cardio day for running instead. I saw pretty good results in burn, saw definition forming in push but fewer inches lost, and saw a lot of definition and lost a lot more inches in lean. I was…
  • You look fantastic! I just finished up the program this week and saw great results, but I probably still have another round or two before I am as toned as you are. You're great inspiration!
  • I'm on week two of LEAN and really feel every workout! I was mad that Donna was the only one left from the first two phases too. She annoys me. I normally try to match my weight to Janelle's and now she's gone, replaced by a stranger. :(
  • Well, Push earned me another 3 inches overall lost! 9 total! I'm starting Lean tomorrow!
  • That's so great! I'm just about to finish up week 2 of Push and can already see a difference in my muscle definition! I can't wait to see what my 60 day progress pics/measurements will show, let alone the final 90! I keep reading that the Lean phase is where people start dropping the most inches and weight. Did you find…
  • I think you'll love it! After working on my fitness for about a year, I knew I was ready for something more "extreme" and really wanted to start lifting heavy. ChaLean fit the bill! I just started week 2 of Push today and have really seen changes already. I'm excited for the end result! Good luck to you!
  • I am glad for some input on this as I was wondering if you'd still see good results subbing another form of cardio in for the Burn intervals and abs video. I hate the burn intervals workout. I feel clumsy and like I just can't keep up. I think I'll go back to running on those days, follow with the abs video, then continue…
  • Well, I can't say definitively yet because I am about a week from finishing up Burn and have not yet done measurements or another round of progress pictures, but I don't see a lot of difference when I look in the mirror. I know my weight has held steady because I do weigh in every Friday. However, I can feel a difference…
  • Yesterday was the start of week 2 of the Burn phase for me. I love it so much so far! I feel great after each workout, though I feel a bit like I lack the coordination to do her Burn Intervals video very well. Maybe as I learn the routine better I'll feel less like a stumbling fool. :)
  • I was the first in my family to be diagnosed but since then, two aunts, two cousins, and a sister have all been diagnosed.
  • I know it can be incredibly overwhelming. I was diagnosed about 3 years ago, and like others have mentioned, a lower carb lifestyle is what works for me. My weight loss has been slow, sometimes agonizingly so, but it is far from impossible. I have found my symptoms do seem to be better now than they were 3 years ago when I…
  • I hear you. I've been struggling for a few weeks to keep my carbs in check. Damn holidays.
  • A wedding is spurring my desire to lose the last bit of weight too. :) My sister is getting married next summer. I only have 15 more lbs to lose to hit my goal, but I want to be toned. Despite the weight loss, I am still carrying my excess weight in my belly. Hoping upping the workouts will take care of that. Overall, this…
  • day 2 of level 1 in the books today! I woke up with a very sore chest and arms today after yesterday's but surprisingly was still able to get through today (mostly!) Feel free to add me, I'm game for support!
