  • I was inspired by just the story of the walk, but add the part about parenting in the real world, this story is phenomenal!!! Good for you on all fronts! By the way enjoy your conversational writing style!!! Keep up the good work!!
  • Same boat here.......continued to exercise a bit, but fell head first into the bag of chips/plate of BBQ/Mike's Hard Lemonade for about 2 weeks! So this AM back here to MFP looking for some motivation/inspiration. I'm just trying to remind myself how shi**y I have felt the last two weeks and how great I felt before…
  • I am an omnivore. The meat I eat is usually wild game that I harvested and processed myself. Most of the fruits and vegetables I eat are from my own garden. I only hunt animals that I will eat. I am part of the food chain. I am thankful for all of nature's bounty and try to be as humane as possible in my hunting. When I…
  • Aside from the standard ice, NSAIDs, stretching, good shoes I've had great success in decreasing the PF symptoms with deep tissue work. A chiropractor helped me in just a few visits with deep tissue massage/manipulation breaking up the adhesions in the plantar fascia and lower legs. It hurt like *&LL while he did it, but…

I eat in the car weekdays so I do wash it down with coffee (gotta have a little sugar, this is a deal breaker) and lots of water. I find that this lasts me until lunch and I can get by with less food at lunch and dinner.

I know there are many many DNP programs sprouting up.......accellerated BSN to Doctorate. I would have concerns about some of these brand new programs getting their accreditation and might be…
  • If anyone is considering a nurse practitioner track, I have a lot more info regarding that and the upcoming changes in education requirements etc!
  • yeah, that is a drawback....another option might be if you have an outdoor gas grill...haven't tried that myself tho.....Good luck!..
  • what about just tossing the potatos in a little Olive Oil and sprinkling with some seasoning.....then oven roast? I layer them on a baking sheet, use Trader Joes 21 Salute seasoning mix which is salt free....bake about 367 degrees F 30-45 minutes. Stir them around/turn over about 1/2 way thru. That way you can…
  • I know that here in Eastern Washington state there is one CRNA program at Gonzaga University. The requirements are that you have the BSN and the critical care experience, so you may be able to skip the MSN step or get that degree along with the CRNA designation. The program here is quite competitive so grades and work…
