These are all recipes from my Flat Belly Diet by Liz Vaccariello - my favorite is the pumpkin - I buy bulk nuts at the local health store and store everything in jars in the fridge to avoid the nuts becoming rancid. Each meal has a MUFA (monsaturated fatty acid) present. Apple-Almond Oatmeal 1/2 cup oats 1 cup water 1 tsp…

why don't you return it or exchange it for the kind you usually use?

I have been doing WW off and on since 1997. At one point I weighed in at 205 and went down to 125, then a few years later back up to 185 then back down to 124 then back up to 163 and here I am now again trying to loss weight. I am 44 years old and have come to the realization that WW doesn't fit me any longer. At first I…

I have the P90X, ChaLean Extreme and Power 90 I like ChaLean and followed the workout plan and became very strong (no flabby arms and legs) but didn't follow the eating plan (my error still flabby belly) Power 90 I enjoyed in the beginning but got bored pretty fast and the DVD's are dated P90X is fantastic but I didn't…

Me too! It worked for me the first time (205 lbs down to 124). But now I am older (44 years old) and it is harder to loose weight this time around. I hurt my neck a few years ago and quite exercising but kept eating the way I was able to at that time because I was cycling more than 200 miles a week. hence the weight came…

I am so sorry to hear about your loss and cannot begin to fathom what you have been going through this year. I would be happy to cheer you on or support you in anyway I can. My heart, thoughts and prayers are with you.

Hi! I've been doing this for a week (but I am still doing WW too). I lost 85 pounds on WW so I have a soft spot for them. You can add food in MFP but thus far I have found everything I have logged so far readily available in their database. I think both resources My Fitness Pal & WW are both useful, I'm just not ready to…

You look wonderful! Good job! You should treat yourself to something - a manicure or pedicure or both! You should be very proud of yourself.

Hi Vicky - You can add me too. I started on myfitnesspal.com yesterday (but I am on weight watchers as well - paying $$ for quite a long time). I started this as I have been slightly frustrated with my progress. If I can be of any help to you it would be my pleasure & I wish you great success! Tima

My husband and I love Kashi & Amy's frozen meals. I pick them up at super Target when they are not on sale at other locations.

I don’t think you are too harsh, however, I find your responses with an undertone of superiority based upon assumptions. Don’t you think it would be better to discard assumptions, make attempts to do periodic paradigm shifts and try and see where people are coming from and in the end to be a kinder soul and teach instead…

Such a low caloric intake would be dangerous. Your heart is a muscle, when you don't consume enough calories your body will choose to consume muscle tissue before going after your stored energy reserve. I would not recommend forcing your body into starvation mode if there was no rational reason (i.e. your plane crashes on…

I don't think the question of "serious" was in reference to Ramadan but rather to the caloric intake question.
