PS- You are human. Stress happens to us all! You're hardly lazy, just a regular old person. One day of "eff this crap" doesn't do anything. Go back to what you were doing the next day.

The "how" for me is that I do "just do it;" It's become part of my lifestyle and I can't imagine living any other way. The important thing for me is why; I had a health scare that resulted from my lifestyle choices and my relationship with food, so it became a necessity for me to change things and be responsible for my…

-You don't bother visiting anything other than Disney, Universal or the Outlets instead of exploring the food scene, the music scene, the art scene, anything other than the parks. -You don't understand why locals don't go to the parks all the time -you're wearing a new Orlando/ Disney/ Universal/ Florida shirt -You want to…

You're quite active, so 2k cals are probably still in a deficit! Eat some more or maybe cut down to 3-4 days with Ms Michaels if you cannot stand to eat more than 2k a day. :)

Mine was higher when I was heavier, but it's gone down to normal now that I've gotten smaller and have started running and lifting. My resting heart rate used to be in the 90's, but now it's in the 60s. 75 is the "normal" number for a woman of my age. That said, you should see a doctor. Also, you might be able to pair your…

One thing that has been proven true in my case over and over again is that my tummy and emotions cannot be trusted with that level of responsibility. So, a food diary it shall be! I am forever feeling like I am still hungry, even after eating a truly ludicrous amount of food. So, I must think about it and be aware of what…

I actually have "goal clothes." I buy smaller clothes on clearance and judge my true progress by how well I fit into them. My skinny clothes from 10 years ago would have been too big for me now, which still boggles my mind! :D
-
If I had saved all of my skinny clothes from my previous weight loss they'd have been 10 years out of date! :)

Yup. I get that now (which is weird to hear O_o ) and I always have to say "LOL there isn't a natural thing about my situation! LOOK AT MY FOOD AND EXERCISE LOG. OBSERVE ME ALWAYS WEARING AN ACTIVITY TRACKER." I'm "naturally" a person with no impulse control who can consume truly absurd amounts of food at a given moment.…

Fixed that for you. Plenty of women go to the gym for gains, thanks.

A gym is only as good as the location near you. I'm a very happy member of anytime fitness, but if I judged the place on the location I went to on a business trip one time, I'd never have joined. I've never been to a Planet Fitness, haven't heard good things, but I'd consider joining if they were close to me. Besides, no…

This makes me sad. One meal won't take away all you've accomplished. You aren't eating out every meal, you're eating out as a treat? Plan for it and enjoy it! Most of those meals are big enough for two, so take some home. The calories aren't as hateful as you think when you look at it as a two meal thing. :)
-
I think you're not eating enough. I'd wager a guess that you're probably eating under your BMR. Try backing off to 1 pound a week for a month and see where that goes. Also, try to get some exercise in. :)

If you like them, rock on! I'm not a fan as I'm always hungry too soon after eating them, but I eat plenty of things that other people would deem "bad" for whatever reasons. Eat the foods you like. It's YOUR life and YOUR food. :)

I'm 5'8" (1.72m), 151 lbs(68km) and wear anywhere from an 8-14 US depending on the brand and style. Generally I'm in a 10 pant and a Med shirt, though. Holy cow, that's still weird to say... Sizes are weird, though. The same day I bought a 14 dress, a medium shirt and an 8 short all fit perfectly.

ooooh, is that the funky elliptical-looking doohickey? It hurt my knees after a while, which the treadmill didn't do. But, I liked that it moved with you more.

Holy crapnuggets, I'm envious of your belly! :) I think you looked grand at your higher weight just as you look grand now. And just as grand as you'd look with 12% BF and ripped. As much of a copout as this sounds, you need to do what's right for YOU. If YOU like the look of a lower body fat, more ripped look, rock it. If…

I assumed that I'd get the condescending verbal headpat when I was the fat chick at the gym, so I decided that I'd respond with "but I'm running in place" when someone said "you'll get there!" I never got a chance to use it. I am sad. But, hey- props to the people that go to my gym. The only comment about my weight or…

Right? Bonus points for the picture of the butt.

1) I can kneel without hurting. 2) I don't have food guilt. 3) I feel really good about myself. :)

I thought I had posted this! Kale, chicken and rice stir fry. The only thing missing was an egg on top, which was my own fault for not checking to see if I needed eggs before cooking.

Shenanigans! Beef and Cheee Frittata, Hummus, assorted veggies, cheese, brownies, beer and wine. :)

I've had two FitBits. A much-loved Ultra (The old version of the One) that I eventually killed by accident and now a Zip. They're great tools and serve to give a baseline fitness level for you. Mine have been hugely helpful to me!

It sounds like she's not really trying, as snotty as that sounds. 1) She needs to try whatever she is going to try for more than a week. It takes TIME do to this. That 94 pounds in my ticker didn't fall off in a month; it's taken a year and a half. No, it's not easy. But, it does get easier to do once you get your brain in…

Not the prettiest photography I've done, but! Bacon Beef Burger (ground bacon in the beef. It's outstanding.) with swiss, Buffalo Fries and a Salad Pork Chop, Garlic and Herb Pan Fries and Green Beans

My middle might not look it, but it's benefited the most from my lifting! But I'm extremely proud of my arms. March 2013 Yesterday:

Why? Because life. I have two pieces of advice: 1) Cut yourself some slack. Not just with the weight gain, but with your weight loss as well. It didn't happen overnight and it won't change overnight. It's also not a linear process. Some weeks will be better than others, but it's the long-term results that you need to…

OOH! Try this: Do wall pushups. The more angled you are the more resistance you'll get. But don't worry about not being able to do a full pushup! You WILL and you're trying. You're only a failure if you don't try at all. :)

Aww, thanks! :D All those things are great, so keep doing them! I like hand weights a lot and have been using them for most of my upper body work of late. Curls, Overhead Presses, Chest Presses... it's fun. As for the rude people? I've had this and it feels HORRIBLE. I had a guy try to correct me really obnoxiously because…

No, you will not bulk like a man because you are a woman. We have hormonal differences that make them bulk and us not bulk as much. Lifting burns fat, burns calories *after* the workout ends, and increases your metabolism. It's also very mentally empowering. It doesn't mean that you have to end up looking ripped if you…
