Gpoitras: my goal is really weight maintenance, trying to stay around 135-139 lbs, but I really want to tone up. Those are great suggestions, I need to get back into tuna and…

Oh my gosh! Thank you everyone! I will definitely try to pack some of those things into my diet! I've also noticed I'm super low on Iron, Potassium, and Calcium! So, adding in more dairy should help most of those. THANKS!

Most of the time it's from dehydration so make sure you drink a LOT the night before! I breathe in through my nose for two steps and out through my mouth for two steps. it helps to expand your lungs so you're getting more oxygen! Good luck!
-
Also, if I weigh in at 137 this week, 136 next, I can meet my goal of 135 by the end of the challenge! I HOPE!

These sounds absolutely amazing! Im going to make them this week, original recipe first! THANKS!

So, Last week (monday) i got sick with a stomach bug just for that day and by Friday i weighed in at 136.8 (down 2.9 lbs). I thought I was doing well with keeping it off even when I got my strength back and was eating normal again. But this week I've been consistently weighing in at 139-140 :( That's my stuck place, i…

Yeah I worked at a local, natural food grocery and my boyfriend is the manager there. We get local milk that is minimally pasteurized, not raw but pretty close. But i was trying to think of ways to incorporate being Green and healthy at the same time- any more ideas?

Woah nice burn! Do you think this is too intense of a work out if I am just trying to maintain my weight? Maybe if i just do this once a week
-
That sounds like a great work out. How long does your entire training last? 30 minutes? I did made up intervals last night on the treadmill in 30 mins and burned 250 cals.

Hey there! I'm maintaining too at 136 lbs (5 '4). I know this is going to be the hardest part. My goal is to never get above 140 (until I get pregnant). This post has been helpful, it's great to meet other maintainers. Good luck everyone! * Are you all still weighing in on Fridays? When should i check back to stay…

bump AHHHH! I'm an idiot. I had it set to view the % of heart rate and was reading it as my HR (70% not 70 bpm)....sorry for wasting all your time! Well, i'm glad it works....looking forward to posting tonight's work out... THANKS
-
What kind of HRM do you have? an FT4? Thanks
-
Thanks guys! Yeah I think 80 during a work out dvd is low, but it said i was in the "zone" and i still burned 350 in 41 minutes, which is good. I don't know... I'm going to ask my gym guy tomorrow. Hopefully today when I go it acts right. The first time i used it, it seemed right. Resting, 100 and walking 125-130.
-
Kerri, what do you think my HR should be doing a cardio dvd (biggest loser cardio max) or running, 6.0 mph. If it doesnt work i wonder if i can call Polar even though I didn't buy it from them directly
-
Well i'm not sure really. The day it was at 80 while i was working out, my resting was 50. I have been wetting it and wearing it snug. I'm really nervous there's something wrong with it because I bought it on ebay....but the seller had sold a lot with no complaints. And it came in original packaging....

Wow all those things are awesome! I compost too, and only buy organic milk, eggs, and chicken. I wish I could do a CSA or buy local more. I'm sure I'm going to learn a lot more in my program
