I've been mostly maintaining my weight for about a year now. I've dropped a few pounds here and there as well as picked up a couple of pounds from vacation but mostly it's been maintenance. My advice is to just keep doing what you did to lose the weight. The only thing that's different now is you get to eat more calories.

I do this however, be careful to ensure you are getting enough food during the week. I had one instance where a big food day was coming right before a beach vacation so I tried to bank as many calories as I could. I did extra workouts, ate smaller meals, and cut out all of my snacks. I was netting about 800-900 calories a…

I used to sit on my hands if I got the urge. It looks silly but it worked. Haven't bitten my nails in years.

You need to be eating more. Forget restrictive diets for weight loss (medical reasons are different). All that's needed for weight loss is a calorie deficit. Eat the 1470 calories MFP has set for you and you will not be so hungry all the time and you will still lose weight.

How are you calculating your exercise calories? You have one day where you earned over 1,500 calories from exercise. That seems pretty high to me. You may be over estimating your burns. Tighten up your logging and it's very important to log your cheat days. Anytime you start up a new exercise routine or bump your weights…

You say you do several "little extras". On their own, all those extras do just that, very little. It's when you put them all together that it starts to add up. I know for me personally, if I don't work in little extras throughout my day, I would only get about 2,000-3,000 steps not counting my workouts. Adding in a bunch…

I also have a desk job. I'm at work by 5:15 and usually don't get off until 3:30. I am normally being pulled in 20 different directions so it can be hard to eat on a schedule. I was still able to lose about 35 pounds by just watching my calories. It is 100% possible to lose weight with a desk job and little to no exercise.…

The salmon and eggs idea sounds really good. I'm going to have to try that for breakfast sometime! I haven't played too much with chicken because it's so bland and dries out really quick. I'll have to look into different ways to prepare it and try that too.

The dress is open backed, any kind of shape wear would show.

Just wanted to chime in and say you can lose weight without exercise so don't let that hold you back. I lost 90% of my weight without any form of exercise. All you need to lose weight is to eat at a calorie deficit. Exercise is really more for health. You can do this!

I hadn't actually thought about that. It can't hurt to throw in a few extra core workouts for while. I hate my posture and am always trying to correct it. I really need to work on that too. Thanks for the advice!

Crown is my drink of choice too. Drinking water in between drinks would also help me pace myself so I can enjoy the night and remember it too

MFP will sync with Fitbit (meaning if you enter food/exercise in MFP, the calories will go over to Fitbit) but not the other way around.
-
Pure caffeine powder (safely measured out on a scale that can handle mg's) mixed in with whatever you want to drink or eat at the time.
-
All of this. MFP is designed for you to eat your calories back and still lose weight at the rate you want. I say eat back at least a portion of them. If you don't fuel your body properly, you will start to lose muscle mass and when you do get to your goal, you could be "skinny fat".

Without knowing any other info, I would say you're not eating enough and/or not getting a balanced diet. I dealt with similar symptoms every time I would try to diet because I thought I had to starve myself to lose weight. Once it set in, I would still feel ill even after I ate and most of the time it was hard to eat…

I had originally planned to bulk/cut as well. Here's my problem with that. They tell you not to start a bulk until you're at or close to a body fat level you want because you will gain some fat during the bulk. So I decided to start on the cutting side of things and bulk afterwards. That basically put me back in the same…

I know exactly how you feel. I'm pretty much in the same boat at you. I'm fairly happy with my current weight however, feel I have more fat to lose. I go back and forth a lot about maintaining and losing. Currently I have my goals set at .5/week loss even though in my mind I say I'm maintaining. It's a very hard mental…

I'm the opposite. I think scrambled eggs are more filling than boiled. I usually eat boiled eggs when I'm trying to get a little more protein but am too full for real food. Maybe it's the way I eat them. I usually down a boiled egg in 2-3 bites (again, just a way to get a bit more protein when I'm not hungry) but I eat…

All your hard work is paying off and you look great! Congrats on your success!

I lost 43 pounds in 7 months and have maintained that loss for about another 7 months. I still have a hard time seeing myself as skinny. I've had people tell me I'm skinny but I just don't believe it. I look in the mirror and I don't look skinny. Sometimes I'll glance at a picture and think it's someone else for half a…

The salt in the soy sauce will actually start to cook the fish if it's left in there too long. Some cuts of fish can take a longer marinade (like swordfish) but salmon is too delicate. I would suspect cod could handle 1-2 hours but I wouldn't go much more.
-
My favorite salmon recipe: 2-3 TBSP olive oil 2-3 TBSP soy sauce 1 TBSP Mirin (rice wine) 1-2 teaspoon minced garlic (I'm lazy and buy the pre minced crap) juice from half a lemon Mix everything in a bowl or zip top bag and marinate salmon for 15-30 minutes (no more than 30 minutes!) then take salmon out of marinade and…

Why were the kids living with the father after he stabbed the mother in the face and she was working while he was on welfare?
-
I guess I was part of the minority not taught about calories in school. We covered good food vs bad food but didn't really go much farther than that. My mother struggled with her weight nonstop (still does) and did everything from fad diets to starvation. She was often never home leaving me to fend for myself as far as…

38C, 40B, and 34DD are all the same cup size. Cup size is relative to band size. You're breasts didn't actually get any bigger, they just didn't get any smaller while the rest of you did. They seem bigger because the rest of you is smaller. Congrats on the weight loss! ETA: Not sure what you're using to measure but most…

I don't really recommend trying to count calories while drinking. Not sure how much you're planning on drinking but it's just not a good idea in general. Even if you just do shots, 1 shot of booze is ~70-120 calories alone. When I'm in Vegas, I can drink my calories in shots alone (and I'm a lightweight!) without even…

I would say to eat at maintenance or just below it if you're not concerned with weight loss any more. I don't know any of the science to back that up, just personal experience. From August to now, I ate around maintenance 90% of the time and have lost about 5 pounds but my measurements are shrinking. In this picture I was…

I've been weighing my food for about a year and a half now and I'm pretty good at eyeballing things when I think about it. The problem for me is when I'm not using a scale, I typically don't even think about portion size until after I've poured it and I always over pour then realize it's way too much.

I walk circles in my living room/kitchen. It's not the most exciting thing and my dogs and hubby look at me like I'm crazy but I get my steps.
