  • I cook mine and then mix it with dice tomato, cucumber, feta cheese, a little olive oil, balsamic vinegar, oregano and then put it over a tossed salad or a bed of baby spinich. It is great for lunch.
  • I started at 210 and wasn't running very fast, 3.8 to 4.0 on treadmill and made it to week 7. I had a bad time with Plantar Fasciitis and took the next two weeks off. I just started back up Tues and went back to week 1 and ran the 60 second intervals at 4.5 without much trouble, so today I did W2D1 and did the same 4.5. It…
  • Thank you for that recipe, I'm trying it tonight. I have made the brownies using black beans and they are good, but I would rather cook using clean foods and less preservatives.
  • Wine and whine night was on Weds this week, but there is still a glass and a half left of the Trader Joe Cabernet. Going to finish that, no sense in wasting wine!
  • OMG you really can run. I'm just on the C25K and looking at what you've done inspires me. Keep posting.
  • I'm suffering with the same thing, and I have taken a week off of running and wearing high heels to work. The thing that has helped the most is the brace I sleep in. You can get it from any drug store, about $40. It was worth the investment. I too spend a lot of time stretching my tendon and pulling my foot up to keep it…
  • I've been fighting Plantar Fasciits since July and really messed up my foot in week 7. I have spent last week and this week resting it. No high heel shoes, I'm sleeping in a foot brace made especially for the condition. Yesterday was the first day where the pain was just an occasional "eek" and some achieness (can't spell…
  • We don't have a TJ's in Alabama; so sad. But when we are near one, Atlanta, Indianapolis, we always stock up on $3 buck chuck or TJ cabernet and their strawberry preserves. The checkout people must think we are nuts with that order. I love their iced gingersnaps that come out at Christmas. Must plan a trip to Atlanta,…
  • OMG, you have given me some new ideas. I could eat pizza every day. I love mixing up ingrediants like you do. I've not tried lavash but it looks thin and crispy. I've also not tried Ezkiel Bread but am adding it to the list. Your paninis loog great. Thanks for posting.
  • I went here http://www.freetrainers.com/ and have a 30 minute exercise plan to complete 3 days a week. It is free and I am to start tonight. It seems pretty straight forward and it was free; free is good.
  • Love that, it makes me feel ahead of the curve. lol
  • I called mine a re-boot. Consistent exercise is what I need to strive for and it is so hard. I've got to do it before I leave the house, but I'm so tired when the alarm goes off.
  • That looks delicious and as you pointed out so versatile. I have never heard of Quorn tenders. Where do you find those?
  • You will fly through it; no problem!
  • I made it to week 7 even with a mild case of plantar faciitis. Running on Tues evening was not a good thing. I got on the treadmill to walk for 30 minutes and stopped at 10, I could barely walk this morning. I wore my weird looking sandals to work (ECCO with the lower heel bed) and that did help some. I could feel the…
  • Well that has to be fabulous it has peanut butter in it!
  • .. HBarnstein you may have been correct and I should have repeated week 6. But as easy as the 20 minute run was, 25 minutes is really long! I did it, but thought it would never end. I'm hoping that the difficulty was from running after work instead of running in the morning. I'll keep you all posted.
  • Great job, you must be so impressed with yourself; I am. I hope to have a similar reaction to my first run outside. (I'm on week 7 of C25K).
  • One of my coworkers asked me how much I had lost because it really showed. I felt funny telling her it was just 4 pounds, but felt good about the 7 inches I've lost. I was so happy to see that someone had noticed.
  • I had a hard time scheduling my exercise last week. I just couldn't get motivated. My plan is to jump in with week 7 even though I didn't complete week 6. I was so shocked that I could complete the 20 minute run, that I think I'm ready to stop the intervals. In another month it will be cooler and I can start running…
  • Great Job! Amazing what a liitle thing can do to make you feel powerful.
  • My goal is the Princess Half Marathon, but I'm going to start slow with the Yeti 5k and scavenger run in May.
  • W5D3 - Done! I kept thinking while I was running that I was never going to be able to do 20 minutes straight. The podcast guy is crazy to think I'm ready. However, during all those thoughts I glanced down at the clock and was shocked to see how fast the time was going. My first peek at the clock was at 11 minutes. Stunned,…
  • Diana's Baby Bananas with Dark Chocolate. They are so good!
  • I haven't tried the Tofurky Kielbasa, but I love the Italian flavored. It is delicious on pizza, in pasta, so many places. Even my daughter likes it. Gardien is new to those of us in the south, but Winn Dixie is carrying it and Publix and I like the Mandarin Chicken. I buy something new each trip to the grocerty to try.
  • Thank you for posting that, I have the same problem, my shoe actually flew off my foot in the parking lot. Now I exercise my toes and hang on to my shoe. Not replacing those until the scales moves a good bit.
  • All those 36D's that I would buy without trying them on now fit. I have 8 bra's instead of 2. Whoo hoo! Maybe I can go to a C, that would be lovely.

  • Looks delicious! I never thought of using polenta that way. My daughter does not like eggplant so that might work out great. Will you share the tomato rosemary soup recipe?
