My food limit was 1440, and I was working out at the gym 3-5x/week (about 15-30 cardio, 30 min weight machine training). I lost about 35 total since my heaviest in May, but from May-Aug I was mostly swimming with some biking. Since September I have had a plateau, I've only lost about 5 lbs since, but I've lost a decent…

I carry a 32 oz Nalgene with me around all day every day. I usually drink at least 3, especially on days I work out!

I haven't gotten into chia seeds recently because I hear they fill you up really quickly, and right now I'm having trouble eating more than 900 calories/day, everyone's been telling me I need to eat more to get past my plateau.

Thanks! I don't eat fish, so I'll try and stick to protein supplements

I just want to say I am happy this is Doctor Who related. And adiposes are adorable.

October 12, 2013!!! I'm about 35 lbs down total, and I'm hoping for another 30 before then!

Yeah, pretty sure that's very judgmental and unhelpful. Nowhere in there did she say driving was involved. Although I do think drinking should decrease from regularly binge drinking on the weekend after college-age, there is nothing she has said to indicate she is engaging in behaviors dangerous to others, and while binge…

THAT, but also, make sure you are standing in the same position the scale, that is it doesn't have to be perfect, but its going to make a big difference whether you're leaning forward to look at the number, standing straight up, leaning on your heels, etc. I'm guessing that's what your fluctuations are from.

10/12/13 I'm in!

well, then take your cooked spaghetti, put it a 1 cup measure, and that's what you eat!

Seriously, though, next time you plan on having 3+ drinks look at how many calories you have "left" for the day, or even how many you have "left" to get you to maintenance level of calories. THEN divide that by 100-120 calories for a light beer, 65 calories for a 1 oz shot with a calorie-free mixer, and figure out how many…

I had a similar issue: about a year ago I was logging all my food calories, but didn't log liquids cause I generally drank diet coke and lots of water, some green tea, but didn't think about back then I was drinking most days (a glass or two of wine/mixed on weekdays, getting a little to a lot drink one or two…

food scales are the best! I got a really cheap one at Aldi a few months ago for about $15, so keep an eye peeled. If we're talking 2 oz of uncooked spaghetti, if you circle your thumb and forefinger around it, it should be around the diameter of a nickel, give or take a few strands.

Also, make sure you're logging accurately. I see you have selected some items like "peanut butter sandwich". Instead make sure you're measuring everything and logging everything as accurately as possible (i.e. brand name of bread, measure 1 or 2 tbsp of peanut butter), things like chips, crackers, etc all need to be…

Hrm... I've been a vegetarian for ages. I was vegan for a year, and the major issues I have were trace ingredients (WHEY IS IN ALMOST EVERYTHING) and cheese. I love cheese, and vegan cheese is terrible. That said, I recommend avoiding most processed foods (even some breads have whey), stick to beans, rice, vegetables,…

I love my fitbit because I can get a realistic estimate of how many calories I'm burning in a non-workout capacity. I would feel ridiculous logging 20 min of walking or so on a work day because that's how much I estimated I would spend up and about. Especially when it would tell me I burned some ridiculous amount when I…

FITBIT!

I've been vegetarian for about 8 years, and I'm obese (though MUCH less obese than a year ago ... current BMI 31.6). You know what kind of things are vegetarian? Onion Rings. Potato skins (hold the bacon). Quesadillas. All kinds of delicious fried things. It's easy to gain weight as a vegetarian... Look at it this way: all…

I have a fitbit and according to it my "resting" (non-exercise, normal work) day TDEE is about 2100-2300. On days I work out it is anywhere from 2500-3000. I typically do a half hour of cardio and a half hour- 45 min of strength training each work out, sometimes more of either.

I've been looking through a lot of adipex posts, and a lot of people have been very rude or hateful (though not on this one). I think its interesting some people are so quick to judge that anyone willing to take adipex is some kind of lazy fatty. I have eaten healthy my entire life, when I was a kid dessert was a glass of…

AMAZING! I was using 30DS most days for about a month but then I started going back to the gym and stopped 30DS. Probably would have kept it up if I had results like yours! Did you have any trouble with video 2 or 3? I couldn't do plank jacks so I kept doing video 1

Rum and diet coke Vodka or Gin with diet tonic (generally have to make at home, they don't have diet tonic at most bars) Occasionally: Wyder's hard pear cider (140 calories) Strongbow dry cider (160 calories) or Coors light

All I know is that I need to do something, because I've been working my *kitten* off and nothing has worked. I'm looking for information from people who have tried it.

At the very least I do 30 day shred, but I usually do more cardio and strength before it. I am also reasonably active (I work at a correctional facility so I'm generally moving around and meeting with residents, as well as I own my own home and do my own upkeep for it). My metabolism has always been crap, so I'm not…

Depending on where you live (it's chilly but not terribly cold here in Ohio) I would say taking a long walk with stroller (30-60 min) would definitely help, more so with one of those baby back/frontpacks. I recommend doing some intense cardio (if you can't run because of the baby, speedwalk) for 15-20 min, followed by…

Haha I have a Wii Fit Plus and board, but I hate using it because I feel like it verbally abuses me. Somehow making my Mii really fat when I weigh in and saying "Ow" when I step on the board isn't motivating... hmmm... wonder why... lol
