What's the difference? Well done on insanity - you made me think of doing it again. I started last month and hurt my back while doing the day 1 fitness test (not as unfit as that makes me sound!). xx

Adding MFP app to my homescreen on my iPhone - helped he starting using it daily. Now it's just a habit :)

Being a BM in March is ne of my many motivators. Kind of gutted that I will be lighter for my friend's wedding than I was at my own when I was the bride, hehe

Thanks guys! Yes, I should be able to track calories in Thailand, but I won't really be able to weigh food which (I believe) is important. That's part of the reason why I'm eating at a sedentary BMR - I would rather underestimate hehe. Looking forward to joining you all in this forum category more often next year. Well…

Do you have to buy insanity or is it like 30 Day Shred and you can get it on YouTube, etc?

(*knock, knock* not yet on maintenance, but I stalk these boards because I know I will be soon, and losing is only half the work!) So basically, the only thing that changes on maintenance is your calorie goal. You still log, you still exercise everyday, you still weigh all your food. Meh, I can handle that. :D xx

I'm a daily weigher and when I'm tempted by something, I just focus on seeing the scale move down again the next morning and it keeps me focused. I also love this quote: Don't give up what you want most, for what you want now. I.e. I want a hot, healthy bod more than I want chocolate!

I'm not maintaining yet, but I get where you are coming from because some days I have so many exercise calories to eat back, I don't know what to eat. How about healthy foods that are high in fat? Peanut butter (fresh, organic), cheese, nuts etc. These foods aren't bulky so it can help you get some extra calories in,…

15.4 pounds.

1-2 trim (skinny in US) lattes per day. I drink espresso made from freshly ground beans. Never instant and never that 'filter' coffee they server at 'diner' type places. x

I eat 1200-1300 calories a day and I often dart my eyes away from threads that tell me I shouldn't be eating so little - I'm scared of eating more!

I'm hopeless at rewarding myself. I meant to do a 20 kilo reward, then I meant to do a 25 kilo goal but when I get there, I just think "nope, not thin enough yet, just keep going". Now I'm approaching my 30 kilo goal (66 pounds) and I have a sneaking suspicion I won't reward myself then either. But if I do, I want to get…

My diary is open. I eat 1300 and eat back exercise calories. xx

Want to try these this weekend!

Thick, creamy greek yogurt with half banana and stevia.

Ive gone from 235 to 173 and I don't have loose skin. I lost very slowly - over 2 years and not exactly consistently. Hope this helps.

I own a graphic design agency. One of my staff members used to have to photoshop VS models - he had to make them fatter! He had to fill in their ribs and collar bones because they were too skinny.

Thanks everyone... not really keen on a cheat as I am travelling this weekend and next weekend and want to be as good as I can for now! I might order the steak without the whipped potato and get a side of ratatouille (they don't have a plain side salad). x

Absolutely incredible. Your pictures bring a tear to my eye.

Oh and I bet you're just perfect! A bit rude - we all have trigger foods, PB is hers.

I weigh daily. Sometimes the only thing that stops me from cheating is when I think "No, I want to see the scales go dow tomorrow". I chart using TrueWeight (free app) because I'm a fluctuate-r so it's good to see the line go down, even if its not linea. xx

Haha, looks like a unanimous decision for me to kick up my heels tonight! Maybe I'll get a quick Ripped in 30 session before I go, and hit up some cardio tomorrow when I get up. xx

Very rarely. A few times a year... can't think when I last had a glass of wine. It sounds bad, but I don't really have just one glass, if I'm going to drink, it's more like 10-12 glasses of wine. I live in New Zealand, very big on drinking!

Cinnamon Stevia 1/2 small banana 100ml natural unsweetened yogurt I cook it in water. If I could afford the calories, I would add brown sugar and cream. Oh yeah. x

Wow thanks guys - you went to so much trouble to do all those calculations. I really appreciate your time! Sounds like it's not quite as simple as I thought. I would have lost a bit of muscle last year as I was way under-eating and only doing cardio. I'm doing some strength now - 30DS. Not hard core lifting but I have…

I've lost 3 kilos since I had my gall bladder removed in Feb 2013. Some of that 3 kilos was water weight from eating ice cream while in the hospital though. I've actually had quite a stall since then though... the scales just dance around the same few pounds, up and down which is disheartening. Not sure if it's to do with…

Come on all you die hard TDEE advocates!

I gave up soda for about 6 weeks. I tried to tell myself that I was giving it up because I didn't like how fake it was. But really, I was giving it up to see if I lost more weight! I didn't... soda doesn't cause me to stall. I have cut back though. I used to have a can a day most days. Now I have a couple of cans a week.
