I totally feel you. I worked in fast food in high school and college. Most fast food places have at least one or two healthy options. Grab a salad and throw a grilled chicken breast or on top of it and choose a vinaigrette dressing . And if you your craving it, have that small fry, just log it :wink: . Plan all your meals…

I find that after a vacation I can rebound pretty quickly. The most important thing is to not beat yourself up. You didn't lose the fight on this vacation. I find that when I have a couple of bad run days a major improvement is just around the corner. A faster run, or better endurance. Keep it up, you'll get there!

Hard boiled eggs are a lifesaver, you can make a bunch in advance and they're a great source of protein in the morning to keep you full. Also, making you're own granola bars will help to get you through the day without all the extra sugar and preservatives. Alton Brown has a great recipe.

Your story is really inspiring. I've had a few setbacks and want to be back at running for good this time. I'm working the C25K myself and can't wait until I can call myself a runner. Thank you for the motivation to put my sneakers back on.

I found that rather than focusing on the weight loss I try to focus on how I FEEL after a workout. After a great workout I have energy that will last the whole day, so rather than falling asleep at my desk at 2:30 I can be more productive. I crave that feeling and it usually gives me enough motivation to get to that next…
