I don't personally do this, even though I know it would be best for me, but cutting out all sweet things, including diet sodas, crystal light, low carb/sugar free candy/meal bars/etc. would be the way to go. Eating for a week or two at a very low carb level (20-30 net carbs) with no sugary foods can be very effective. It's…

Like most of the ladies on here, I prefer someone 6'+. Honestly, the taller, the better. 6'4", 6'5"? Perfect. But as for where I draw the line, I dated someone 5'9", and I think that's as short as I'm willing to go. I'm 5'7", and I need my man to be taller than I am.

I totally agree with what Wolfman said. I've very recently begun to eat low-carb, and I'm still logging religiously on mfp to monitor my macro counts. I'm finding that I actually have trouble eating enough calories on my 60/30/10 fat/protein/carb ratio. I'm averaging around 1300-1400 calories a day. If you're worried that…

Sent you an add invite. If you're worried about carbs, try a veggie omelette or scrambled eggs and sausage, etc. If you're worried specifically about sugar, try eating no sugar added or low sugar oatmeal or eggs & toast. If you drink any kind of juice or use a flavored creamer, consider cutting that out. So much added…

You look amazing! And you are such an inspiration to me, because I'm currently around your starting weight.

Hey folks! I'm 22, 5'6". Looking to lose about 80#. I'm not currently eating low carb, but as soon as I use up the rest of my veggie burgers & Greek yogurt, I am going to start doing a ketogenic/Atkins type low carb plan. So that'll probably be around the beginning of next week. In the meantime, please feel free to add me!…

HIIT (High intensity interval training) is some of the best stuff you can do for your body. Treadmill or elliptical or bike, going as hard as you can for a minute, then walking or resting for 1 minute. Repeat for 20 minutes. If you're not up to a 1:1 ratio, then do 1:2 work to rest ratio (45 seconds of sprinting and 90 of…

So you're not actually asleep when you're eating, you just wake up, get up, and eat? I don't know how much control you have over your situation, basically. If you're fully conscious and doing this, then I would say it's a matter of willpower, actively choosing not to do it. If you're still asleep or only semi-conscious…

Lol. This thread. If you were hoping for a bunch of enablers to tell you the sauna is a magic bullet and to go for it, I think you might've come to the wrong place...

I'm 5'6", 22, 235 pounds. I eat about 1600 calories a day. I'm on my 34th straight day of logging in. And my diary is open to friends. Feel free to add!

I'd be interested in seeing some answers to this, too. I'm actually planning on doing an HIIT workout tonight. Usually I lift or just do plain cardio. I'm excited to try something new.

Oh, please feel free to add me, fellow nerds! Whovian. Harry Potter fan. Star War. Firefly. Lord of the Rings. Love it all! Oh, and I'm in NOVA.

I've been wondering if my BMF was accurate lately. I honestly don't know! Sometimes it'll give readings I think are a little nuts. Sometimes it matches what the treadmill/elliptical readout says. I definitely trust it more than MFP when it comes to things like walking my dog or playing soccer in the park. All-in-all, I'd…

Hey ladies! Feel free to add me! I'm 22. Grad student. Open diary. Trying to log every day from now on! (I'm at 8 or 9 consecutive days now.)

Oooh, pick me! Haha. We're not exactly 100% twins. But we're damn close! I'm 22, 5'6.5". My highest weight was 240, but that was around Xmas 2011. I'm yoyo'd since then. I'm currently at 227. My goal is 145-150. I'll send you a message + add you! :)

Sweating can actually be really good for your skin! What I do is rinse or wash my face BEFORE I work out. Even when I'm not wearing make up or anything. That way my pores are clear. Then when there aren't obstructions, the sweat can actually push subcutaneous dirt/bacteria out. You should, of course, clean your face after…

Very cool! Nice to meet you ladies! :)

Hi wtk (and everyone!). I'm not really looking for info about the area. I'm just about to start grad school and thought it would be nice to meet some other health-conscious people in the area. For support. :)
