You generally do not want to cheat with grains. Gluten causes a host of problems, a few of which lead to increased appetite. It isn't like something you can eat once a week and still receive benefit. Dairy is a bit borderline for a lot of folks, I still eat it myself.

Your brain needs glucose. And your body can produce glucose from protein. Is that the only reason you say they are unhealthy?

Great job.

It's not really that important if your pre-workout meal is in order

Paleo isn't necessarily low carb. You can eat a very high carb paleo diet.(and it will still work)

Please just go here and read http://robbwolf.com/what-is-the-paleo-diet/

Tell him to suck it up. I would love to have a woman cook for me.. ugh..

This. Is. Hilarious.

Just avoid juice, fruit as a whole food is fine and you would be hard-pressed to eat too much of it unless you are one of those that can just gorge on grapes.

So your upper limit is 64 pounds. 8X4X2. Those doctors sound wild! edit: this is where I got that information http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/pregnancy-weight-gain/PR00111 Overweight (BMI 25 to 29.9) 15 to 25 pounds (about 7 to 11 kilograms) Obese (BMI 30 or more) 11 to 20 pounds (about 5 to 9 kilograms) These…

When I hit my calorie intake. Sometimes that's 10pm sometimes its 7PM
-
How much weight did they say you should gain, or what is the range?
-
I think you just need to give it time. In fact if you go ask about getting the surgery they will tell you to wait I think one or two years after you lost the weight to see if you're happy with how it ends up.
-
The more you workout the more you need to eat.

OP has already been helped, they should listen to their doctor, not some forum. I am trying to argue a point here, and that point is that fat loss while pregnant is not a bad thing. Because they seem to think that an extra slice of cheese pizza is going to make or break a pregnancy. Cheese pizza isn't exactly the bastion…

I probably shouldn't address you but why do you think your sex prevents you having knowledge regarding health issues of men? I think feminists everywhere just shed a tear.

Whether or not the scale moves up or down is just an indication of calories consumed. If an obese lady only gains 10lbs that's 15lbs of fat loss over 9 months. To go to zero weight gain and 25lbs of fat lost is a difference of 140 calories a day. It is preposterous to suggest that cutting out 140 calories a day is going to…

After about five days I notice my appetite plummets. You should at least give it a shot. Saves a hell of a lot of time and misery.

Variety is a factor in overeating.

I have been on it for two weeks so far. I screwed up and ate an extra pizza. No big deal. The last time I did it I went from 200 to 166. I think I can stop around 172 this time and it will put me at 10%bf.

Glorious

How much weight did you gain during that pregnancy? Was it under 25lbs? If so then you lost fat.
-
So did you weigh more or less after you had your child from when you first became pregnant?
-
I have done this before and I am doing it currently. I don't know how much fat is in tilapia but I eat a lot of tuna. You can definitely do this as pescatarian.
-
I will admit to it being quite amusing, I wasn't going to reply to the original comment until the second one came up saying "you're a guy so you can't know anything". Ridiculous.

Well I should have gone to bed an hour ago so here is a riddle: If you're obese, and even overweight, your doctor already recommends fat loss during pregnancy. I'm sure someone will figure this out before morning. And I refuse to engage with white knights who provide no science. At least make an appeal to authority or…

Can either of you explain how becoming pregnant gives you a biochemistry degree? If your doctor was a male would you ignore his advice?
-
That is a sensitive issue. Maybe you guys could work towards better health together. I would be surprised if you didn't prefer to be lighter than 160 at your height.

Where did I say anything about limiting carbohydrate? Thanks.
